All we can hope for is that we're all "shaking our ass with life" at 81!

Prejudice has deprived so many countries, industries, organizations, fields of study and communities of our potential best and brightest 😢

A gay guy in the navy? Shocker No but really, god bless this guy. Human beings can be so sensitive and petty, especially back in the day. Imagine treating someone like this just because they like men.

It makes no sense, they do stuff for their country, they do their jobs, and hell they sometimes have to kill a man. But they get hate for loving one?

I'm not saying this to start a debate but, I think it's sad that this country used to be less free back then than it is nowadays for some people who didn't do anything to deserve bad treatment. They were just different than the majority, that's all. But, at least this guy got some justice before he died and was able to live happily for the rest of his life.

I’m glad Don’t ask Don’t tell was repealed. Why was it even there in the first place?

Look at the historical context. Prior to Don't Ask/Don't Tell, soldiers were asked, told and discharged.

To appease liberals and moderate Republicans. That is why Bill Clinton signed it. But this is guy was in before that was even a thing or consideration. My question is, why the fuck would two gay sailors admit they were lovers to their commander? Maybe to get out quickly, though that in its self is stupid. They cost this man's career for something idiotic. Though i believe he isnt telling the whole story. The navy doesnt just kick out men for mere association. An investigation would be needed, and he may have admitted that he was gay. Which lying on forms to get in is a federal offense.

Prejudice and Us vs. Them mentality is N E V E R ok or justifiable. No matter who the target of your prejudice is or who “They” are. Period. And if you disagree with this, then you need to accept that people who are prejudiced against you and “your kind/people” are 100% justified in being so.

Can you imagine half the world is prejudiced or more against people of sexuality people of color but that's the only judgment to God people against abortion that I don't believe it abortions but that's gonna be god's determination not minds cause everyone has free will everyone

Why the hell did those sailors admit they were gay, in a time where it was illegal to serve in the military as a homosexual? They cost this man and others associated with them their benefits.

@myrtlemoore7611 Жыл бұрын
And if Trump reversed that then they shouldn't let that known in the documentary and I'm very surprised he did knowing that he is a prejudiced man he exploited that doing his work history with the people that worked under him his ownership of property he kept it no secret isn't it funny how a white man or woman is gonna face God and say I didn't like the people the color of the people you made going against the word of God it's going to be something They're gonna have to deal with nobody gets away with anything
@myrtlemoore7611 Жыл бұрын
Also I understand how Trump got the people of religion to be on his side when he hold up that Bible upside down but The Thing is I don't believe in abortion but that's not for mandacy for each individual is for that person's gonna have to base God itself because God gave free will man didn't give man free will not at all Just amazing how republicans picked down on Trump a man with no experience the only thing he really had was the ability to let white man feel free to display his prejudiceness when he couldn't do it on his own embarrassing
