Also rorona zoro is based on the real pirate, François l'Ollonais, whose name in in Japanese sounds almost identical to "lolona" which is how they say rorona.

@@StoryDive thanks! keep up the great work man, love the videos. id personally love to see a mythology video. mythology is muh jam! i have a small list already if you want some skypea and olympus laboon and the leviathon, and from the bible, jonas and the whale, and the story of pinochio and gepetto as well pinochio also has ties to dressrosa don flamingo quiote and don quiote luffy and sinbad the whole thing is kindof based on the odyssey i could probably go on for hours if i went into any detail and actually put thought into what i was saying, im just spitballing off the top of my head here...sorry about all my terrible spelling mistakes....

4:24 Actually I’m pretty sure Rayleigh is named after Rayleigh scattering. The phenomenon of high frequency visible light scattering when it reaches earth’s atmosphere. Which is why the first time we see Rayleigh in action he’s fighting The Light man Kizaru.

I actually got into studying the objective and truthful accurate statements of what real life Pirates such as Black Beard used to live like more than the history classes taught in school, so if it wasn’t for One Piece I’d never gotten into studying the real life accounts of Pirates like Pirate King Henry Avery and Black Beard himself.

@@tommy3134 i feel exactly the same, like, down to the letter, about the japanese voices. i can watch the exact same episode/movie, in both, and the english dub will make me cry and laugh, but the japanese dub im stoic the whole time. 90 year old little old ladies, just shouldn't be the voices of strong young male people, it doesn't work, and just makes everything seem like a giant joke. also saying the letters that make up a laugh sound instead of actually laughing.....just......makes no damn sense.....
