Tornado sirens go off all the time here and 99% of the time nothing happens. There is no way he could have saw that there was a tornado on the way because of how much rain there was. He was probably out filming to show his friends how much it is raining. Something I do all the time.

​@@Tevon93 that means nothing. A tornado is either nearby or has touched down somewhere. Funnel cloud spotting. It means take shelter.

But they're often caused by strong winds, especially those from tropical cyclones and tornadoes, and occasionally by intense downbursts and derechoes, so if one happened that close to me, I would be severely worried that I'm about to be hit by one of those weather events and scram lol!

0:46 that brief warble in the siren is a sign to GET TO COVER. The tornado has hit the siren and is interfering in the sound wave form.

I spent a night in OKC during a big roadtrip in 2021. The hotel directory in my room gave the following instructions regarding severe weather... if dark clouds are present and/or the tornado sirens are sounding, take cover in first floor hallway and bring along pillows, blankets & mattresses for protection. Also sometime in the early 2020s there was some bill pending in the Oklahoma legislature requiring hotels to provide tornado shelter location in addition the fire exit instructions that are posted on the doors in each room.
