Nonsense of predator animals won't hurt you unless 'insert reason here' are why family's continue to lose children and adults are attacked. I lived in Colorado for five years hiking with my son Joe that had muscular dystrophy in a special made backpack so he could explore places others with his condition couldn't. I carried a 45 caliber and people made their comments one family was headed up a trail my son and I came down a female mountain lion that had never had cubs killed their son. 1999 I believe Poudre canyon reservoir trail

And while gators can climb fences, they won't with a dog because they're ambush predators and much more shy than crocs, so dogs scare them away unless they're huge. No need to harm the cats or you would be killing every natural predator including wolves and bears. The cougars just need to be deterred from the area and the owners of the home have to be super vigilant i.e. small pets, small children kept guarded, try not to travel at night, beware of overhangs.

@TheDeenaPan5 жыл бұрын
@@joewojcik258 they don't attack people unprovoked. They are a wild animal that is an ambush Hunter that is only doing what comes naturally to them for hunting prey. As humans when we decide to take a jog in nature we should also be aware of the risks of encountering the natural inhabitants. Most mountain lion attacks are on people who are jogging, walking, running, biking, or small children from behind (Prey characteristics to a cougar). Cougar are solitary creatures and do not like confrontation unless they are cornered or protecting their young. I live in the mountains and expect wild animals live in the woods around me so therefore I expect every time I leave my house to be aware of my surroundings and the chance that I could have an encounter with a wild animal. Just because I choose to live in the mountains I cannot expect the animals to stop being wild. Cougars don't run around and viciously maul people for the fun of it. We as humans are encroaching on their feeding grounds so we then become a new form of prey for them as we have scared away much of their normal prey. Animals are not malicious, humans are.

@bedazzled646 жыл бұрын
Jay Gray The view: Yes a bunch of trees! Nothing but trees. That is a beautiful sight, much better than just taking in buildings and concrete. The house has a large walkaround patio so you can sit outside and enjoy that beautiful view of nothing but trees. Nature is beautiful. And for the interior, yes we can't see it all but from what you do see is beautiful woodwork with many large floor to wall windows to enjoy that beautiful view. Maybe some have a deeper appreciation than others, as one who grew up with nothing but woods behind our home and plenty of nature I learned to appreciate it all at an early age. And we also had very large windows to enjoy that beautiful view. :)

There is a YT channel of a man's self made small drinking pond in this person's back yard in southern AZ desert. He has trail cameras set up and all sorts of animals come to drink. Coyote, cougar, turkey, deer, javelins, birds, and all sorts of other animals make their way to the drinking pond in the middle of the night. It's entertaining watching them all. I have always had a large tub of water outside for any thirsty animal passing by. I haven't filmed any, though. This was pretty amazing to catch all these guys on film. You might consider making a drinking station for critters like these, but put it on the edge of your property away from the house.
