With my autism, I saw a future that I was supposed to live, but with a diagnosis in my teens that ultimately out a pretty for sure date of expiration on me, I changed that future immediately and on my own. Still kept all the qualities of course because, pshh, not wasting my parents hard work, but I decided to have a different future. Lol, I had to relearn to walk in my mid 20s right, that really taught me that a very small list of things you ever get a chance at redoing. Since then I was forced to change my diet to basically a vegetarian with exceptions through the time and now I get why vegans are so quick to wanna talk about it. How many times in your life do you get to relearn to do something like walk or eat. Whenever I go to the airport, you'll NEVER catch me on an escalator. I'll take the stairs. Yes and thank you. Lol

The narrative and execution of this movie seems so much better executed than Family Man. This movie recap is very touching for me, especially since I’m a first generation Chinese American, a son to an immigrant Chinese family. Throughout my entire childhood and teenage years my father rarely spend time with me, because he’s always put work above spending time with his family. To this very day, I greatly respect both of my parents, for their hard work and perseverance in providing me and my siblings a better life. At the same time, I am also saddened by how we rarely spend time with one another when I was young and as a result we don’t really know much about one another. Which is why, when I became a father, I hope to both work hard to support my family, and at the same times, always try to find ways to spend time with my family, especially with my future sons and daughters. And I am really looking forward to watch this movie someday.

Love this Family Man movie rendition. They did a great job. But I still love Nicolas Cage, last quote in the Family Man better, "Maybe I went to bed one lonely night in December and I imagined it all. But I swear, nothing has ever felt more real. And if you get on that plane right now, it'll disappear forever. I know we could both go on with our lives and we'd both be fine, but I've seen what we could be like together. AND I CHOOSE US. You want to know what's so funny about this movie? How realistic is. There are people who speak about wanting to be rich but don't understand that money and you're greed for it doesn't make you happy, it never will. However, having someone who cares for you - loves you and who you can build a life with; that's right "build" a life with not someone living off of your success. That is your moment of happiness, your piece of heaven; contentment.
@czechowa
@czechowa 10 ай бұрын
I don't agree. For me, this is the case of "the grass is greener on the other side" type of deal. Having someone who loves you doesn't automatically make you happy, I know people with families who have very deep depression and people who are alone and rich and are very happy.
@Drew-po6ju
@Drew-po6ju 6 ай бұрын
@@czechowaboth of you prove a good point. Neither poor or rich family doesn’t justify happiness, I believe it’s on how things are handle that pursuit those fulfilment of happiness. On the hand being alone, rich or poor with happiness is possible but highly unlikely. Human beings needs companionship like a child, partner or so on to keep having purpose and someone to look forward. Alone people leads to loneliness, depression, unfulfilled purpose.

why do you have to have "the best" of anything? Just try to live a life that makes you and others happy, without labelling a part of your life "better" than someone else who may not have what you have. We don't all have the same families. Perhaps more apt would be to say relationships instead of family as that encompasses the important people and the ones you love rather than the ones who share your DNA.

The Korean film 'Switch' seems to have been inspired, adapted, or remixed from the film 'The Family Man' (2000), starring Nicolas Cage and Téa Leoni, with Don Cheadle, Saul Rubinek, and Jeremy Piven in supporting roles. Tea Leoni in the film is enough to 'steal' the audience's attention. The Korean film 'SWITCH' starring Kwon Sang Woo in real life (as far as I know) is a person who is low profile and active in providing humanitarian assistance or donations for natural disasters such as the tsunami or handling the corona virus. Although Kwon Sang Woo is not the only Korean artists/actors or singer who has provided humanitarian assistance. Some Korean artists/actors or singers on behalf of individuals are more difficult for the public to know than their contributions through companies, because most of these donations are for other countries. ps : Sorry, if there are spelling mistakes, understanding my language or writing comments, my English is not my native language.

I agree. Depending on the interest, character and execution of the story, will resonate with people differently. IMO lately, from an American who has watched 1000s of shows since the 1960s. I watch both international and American content. It is rare to find such a wide variety of content that surpasses the Korean (TV series) markets in terms of production, acting, and writing these days. I consider The Family Man a true classic. Tea Leoni .. DGM started. LOL. As a fan of good entertainment, I'm happy to see a spin off. I asked the people who feel that Korea has low production standards to name the last 10 shows they watched and why they felt that way. Their comment may not have any merit because they have conformation bias or haven't watched much. It is true that many Korean writers are outstanding.

@@shadayethomas415 well when hollywood copies a Korean movie they useally change a lot of things.. from what I’ve seen, but most of these Korean copies change almost nothing.. I’m not hating on it at alll though because personally I think it’s awesome especially since I hate reading captions for an entire movie lol

The original movie name the family Man displayed by Nicolas Cage. I think 15 years ago. Both versions are great
