@@Storysium Thank YOU Storysium, For your clarity of exposition, and your kind pro bono service. I also suspect your artistic excellence may arise in part form your genes, in that, being of Dutch nationality, you have a tremendous history, and culture, of artistic excellence (Van Eyck, Rembrandt etc. etc); but in your case, finding expression in the digital media. See here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4LMXmuAhNyeftE for one of my recent projects (of a religious subject), which your instruction helped me to create.

thanks though because it works - I used Hue Vs Luma to restore some too pale almost burnout highlights on a hand close-up and make them look more natural .There is little fine control on the Hue Vs Hue as a slight movement changes a too much so the 'gearing' could be better but it works with a little fiddle and small movements of the mouse.

wow, this is one of the best explanation on these curves!!! Thanks a ton. Can you also make a video where colors might be overlapping and we have to use masks for specific area and the persist that mask as the subject moves?

So many color grading videos talk about the "skin tone line" in the Lumetri Scope, but the examples are always based on lighter skins. Is that line the same for all tones? If not, can you/have you done a video on grading darker skin tones? This is not a complaint by the way; I'm asking because your tutorials are excellent and easy to understand and I'd love for YOU to explain this for me.
