Omg damn this is TRUE! I kick myself in the butt a million times cause I spent my whole high school wrapped up in boys, never got in a physical fight over one but I’ve had arguments. i don’t think that hanging out with someone who has a partner is an issue as long as everyone respects boundaries and there is trust. the idea that you can’t hang out with certain people just because you MIGHT do something is a red flag. if there’s a history there or a pattern of disrespect, i understand voicing that to a partner for sure. but determining who they can and can’t talk to seems like a very unhealthy relationship. if someone makes you feel that worried and insecure to the point you can’t “allow” them to talk to people even respectfully, that’s a sign of a much larger problem imo.
