STORYTIME -- IS THERE A GHOST IN MY HOUSE?!

Alexa story.....One night about a month ago my husband woke me up at 3:23 a.m , shaking my shoulder and saying , " what the hell is that sound?" An extremely loud , what sounded like ghostly sounds (best way to describe it).....moaning and demonic whispering was coming from the livingroom. We were both completely shakin and confused, horrified and frantic. My husband opens the bedroom door and could see into the living room where we kept the Alexa and her light was on. So my husband said " Alexa! STOP!" It instantly became silent in the house. We never went back to sleep that night and he called Amazon the next day and they did some investigating......they finally came back and said they couldnt explain it. .........Alexa no longer lives here. NOPE!!!! Not today Alexa....not today.

I had all of that and the only solution was my pastor came and prayed around the house... all of that will leave when it hears the Name of Jesus. Love you and pray for you.... my old house was terrible... moving things.... my Dog as well could feel it....feeling like something was looking at you.... But everything stopped after prayer. This is real just do something about it and fast.

When I was around 12, we lived in a home that the previous owners used as a small nursing home. I have 7 siblings, and we almost all experienced some type of experience. My sister told me that an old lady tried to pull her under the trundle bed! One night., I woke in the middle of the night and saw an old woman in a nightgown with cat eye glasses on. Her hair was up in a loose bun, and she was just standing there. It was super freaky!! I almost always felt like there was a presence around.

It sounds like you have an Evil Spirit in your house, I've had them mess with me before. I felt it on my bed just like someone sitting next to me. You can get rid of them. You have to demand it out of your house "in the name of Jesus" and it has to leave. I open my Bible to Ephesians Chapter 6 verses 11-17. About the Armour of God. Leave it open because the enemy can't stay where God's word is visible. Just walk into every room of your house and demand it out and always say "in the name of Jesus''. I have friends that have had them in their houses and after they demanded it out, they didn't have anymore problems either. I hope this helps, they can't hurt you, but they are just creepy. MaReeee!!!! I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish!! I have literally lived with spirits, seen them, heard them, felt them. N its never a good feeling when u feel them. Its such a different kind of a scared feeling. Thankfully, that was all back when i was younger n havent had any more encounters since. The first thing i always try to do is debunk a sound or if i think i see something. But let me tell u, some of it no way in hell could have had any other explaination. Girl. I have had two different ghosts in two different homes that we lived in. The first one used to be verrrrry active! The second one was pretty active also. However, we never felt threatened. I totally believe! What kind of cameras do you have? We need some, I’m very interested!

5 yrs ago just before my daughters 16th a shadow figure made its presence known, a few items were moved too which was witnessed by a few ppl. It again made a decent appearance a few days later and again 3 other ppl visiting saw it clear as day walk from one room to another. It hung around for a few wks and then left. It has shown itself again numerous times over the years but we have noticed it comes when my daughter is stressed, upset or changes are happening. Last week my daughter was upset as our cat passed away, her dog was in her room and sensed it too & began barking at the hallway. I will say that its not a negative presence, it has caused no harm & seems to be interested in mostly my daughter, it has never ventured far from the far end of the house where her room is located. I think it may be a guardian spirit........ anyway we have embraced our shadowy guest. Never dismiss what u feel, as there is more to this world as we know it.

I think Loxy is just responding to things she hears in the wall she can hear and you can't. Electricity hums but humans can't hear it. Plumbing makes sounds inside the walls we can't hear. Or critters. So that part of it is eh maybe.

We have a presence in our house. My daughter has seen a male figure and my other daughter and I hear things and see things out of the corner of our eyes. Sometimes you feel like you are being watched. Creepy but I don’t feel threatened. My daughter cleanses each room routinely with smoking sage as we say prayers and She burns insence frequently. For the Longest time (before I consciously wanted to admit something was here) my daughter would sage the house. She read it was a way to handle spirits. I thought she was smoking pot and trying to mask the smell!

Who knows? We can wonder. As much as you clean I don't see how any spirits could really take up residence in your house. Dirty houses now they can have spirits I think.

My mom has cameras in her house with audio also. Her cameras will let you watch real time but if it picks up movement then it records the event until you watch it. She has heard things that are very audible and she also has a video still of a “see through” person on her cameras when no one was there. Her basement is very unsettling but I feel like her “ghost” is friendly. I have also heard a lot of things when I’ve stayed there. I don’t know if you have a ghost but if you do I would try not to acknowledge it or talk about it as much as you can and they say that helps with it leaving you alone. Hope that helps. You never know . My family has heard , seen and felt weird things in a few different houses that we lived in when I was a kid. One thing that I have discovered as I got older though is that sleep disorders can cause the mind to think and feel all sorts of things. The fact that you said you don't sleep very well leads me to believe that maybe this could be your problem . My sisters and I all have a thing where we will wake up in the night and feel completely paralyzed like we can't move or even scream out and like something evil is penning us down. I finally found out after watching a video on You Tube that it is an inherited condition caused from a sleep disorder . I think that it's called sleep paralysis but I can't quite remember at the moment . Everything that happens to me in that moment seems so real though. It literally scares the crap out of me.

Hi Marie. Yes I believe. When my grandmother passed. 15 minutes or so before my mom called me with the news. My toilet got flushed there was no one else but me in the house. I was almost nine months pregnant. I was wondering how that happened when my mom called. Grand just passed she told me. Then I knew who flushed the toilet.😪 so yes please I want to hear more. I grew up in a house with a ghost of a little girl walked right in front of me and then disappeared into the wall. My grandmother was able to see them. They can be somewhat unsettling.

Ok, baby girl...while you told this story I was steadily looking behind you to see if I saw shadows😂. I have indeed been in a few houses with "ghost". The house I live in now has a spirit. My daughter actually SAW the spirit one night in the kitchen. She had no idea, at the time, that the owner had died in the house years ago. She described the owner to the T and then I showed her a pic and she said "yes, mama that was her". Both my children saw a few ghost in another house we lived in. I always felt like I was being watched when we lived there. We would hear a cat and no cat was ever seen inside or outside. Party door would be open and i knew i closed it. My children would wake at night and see people dressed in old timey clothes walking around like they were at a party or some kind of gathering. I truly know about how you feel. Do you believe or do you not believe. I think it is best to suspect there is one but not a 100% believe. 😂. One house my sister lived in her ghost would turn the water on in bathtub, open and shut drawers in kitchen, and play music. I stayed with her perhaps a month and it truly freaked me out. Oh y ere ah, it was kind of creeping me out when you talked about a specific area of your house and had the area in the corner there on the screen 😂. I was so expecting to see a shadow or something to pop into the frame. Yes, my imagination goes wild sometimes 😂. I do wish you the best with your "ghost". Figure since you been there almost 3 years and you nor your daughter has been harmed or really seen the ghost you guys are actually safe. Leave out some milk and cookies for the ghost with a note that says please don't scare me. 😁 Very nice share. Can't wait to heat the big story next time.

I think there's a ghost. I've lived in a lot of houses (like at least 20) and this happened to me in two of those. Once I move the weird stuff stops. So there has to be some kind of spirit hanging around. Long as you feel comfortable cohabiting I would worry about it. Can't wait for the next story.

omg. I had chills at 23:33 bc I also thought it may have closed from a suction of air. TBH, I've read things about history of houses where you can research if anyone previously died in a house(trapped spirit) or if subdivisions are built on Indian burial grounds/cursed land & recently watched 2 movies that were based on true stories: "Winchester" & "Mothman". The Exorcist was also based on true events. Many things can't be explained and we can't understand the supernatural, but I believe in God and know his angels watch over us & protect us. An angel or spirit could have closed the door to keep Loxy out or to save energy in your light bulbs. So even tho it may not seem like a great ghost-spirit, it may be a helpful one. Omg I totally get what you mean with “feeling like there is someone there” but not like in a person. A couple years ago I was living in an old apartment, and one day I turned the lights off to go to sleep, closed my bedroom door and all of a sudden I saw light coming from my kitchen. The next week I was almost falling asleep and I felt wind on my face ( mind you that all windows were closed) and all of the sudden I knew there was “someone” there. I don’t know how to explain it, it’s just a feeling you get that you are not alone😬. Thankfully I moved apartments soon after that😂

I love life 360 app! We rent a house with some odd happenings in here as well. I find it helps when I hear something to say outloud or in my head, "If you are not of good an light an God you are not welcome in my home!!". Then I won't hear anything else for a good few weeks! Don't second guess your intuition! I don't think what is in my home is evil but more mischievous! My son started to talk to himself since we moved in here too... 😳 Thats a whole other story lol. I’m a weirdo who loves hearing people’s ghost stories. When my daughter was 3 months old, her dad and I moved into an apartment in an old hospital. Our neighbors told us stories and I just shrugged it off. Until my daughter’s dad was pulled out of bed one night. 😳 We also had a friend over with a 4 year old & she said she was scared because she saw the doctor in the hallway outside our apartment. 😳 Last thing, my daughter would stand in her crib looking up (like adult height) and baby babbling with a huge smile on her face...this happened a lot. I would get that feeling like you mentioned, like I would turn around & have someone right in my face. Heeby geebies.

Girl!! Chills!! We have lights turn on and off. I write it off as electrical whatnot! Doors open. Doors close. Again, I’m sure it’s heating/cooking related. My daughter feels something in her room. I don’t know. I say anything is possible and just because I can’t see it doesn’t make it not real. With all that said, if it makes us sleep better at night to rationally explain it away then let’s do that. Loved this Story time!

We live right by a retirement home and the night after an ambulance was there my husband and I were in the living room and our kitchen light turned on and off and not like a flicker.. like on then paused and turned off a couple times. But, I think the sleeping stuff is the creepiest. I will wake up and swear someone is standing by my bedside like a shadowy figure but when my eyes focus there’s nothing there.. I’ve never had that before this house. I would definitely think you’d remember taking off your sweatshirt or at least remember being hot!

I had a very weird incident at home I can't explain. It was late at night and my kids were away on sleepovers. My husband was working. I was up looking at social media and suddenly heard a crash from the kitchen. My cats jumped up on alert staring towards the kitchen. I went in to check and there was nothing out of place. last summer, I was sleeping on the couch. I had kicked off my blanket because I was too hot. I woke up in the middle of the night to something(like a hand) moving up my leg. There was no one there. I kicked at whatever it was and told it to go away. Then I wrapped myself in the blanket so it couldn't do that again. It hasn't happened again

I think you and your daughter should check the whole house from top to bottom to see if there is some type off secret door in the walls where someone can get in and out your house. I remember seeing a movie where a lady moved in her apartment and didn't know her neighbor was in and out her walls and can see and hear everything she was doing in her apartment. I know is just a movie but things like that can happen in real life. Another thing if I was you I would keep Alexa off until u ready to use it especially at night. My son has one in the bathroom and I turn it off all the time cause sometimes it seems like it wants to come on by it self. Also if you really think there is a ghost maybe try to burn a white sage all around your house from top to bottom to take out any bad energy. If you decide to burn it like I did make sure to have your windows and doors open and start from the front door so all the bad energy can leave. Make sure to sage every inch of your house including around you and your daughter. I know everything I'm saying sounds crazy but you never know just saying.

Sorry I really believe in ghosts. My husband and I were on vacation and the place was beautiful individual homes. How excited we were until we are ready for bed. This is no lie doors, windows and yelling started to happen in this house. We just thought it’s just the neighbors but we had forgotten for a minute we were in a house. So as we try to go to sleep I tell you this or they “ghost “ were very mad we were there. It was horrible we ran out to the living room and they slammed the bedroom door. Just say we had the worst experience, the next day we went to the front desk and told them about it and sure enough they said a family die in the home and many customers have complaints about the house and were move so did we. But holy moly it was scary.
