I grew up in Raleigh/Durham North Carolina and it is without a doubt a Police State when it comes to handing out traffic tickets. I lived in California and Seattle for 15 years. Never once did i get a ticket. I recently visited my family in NC, they pulled me over 24 hours in the State.

My husband got pulled over twice one two different occasions for going the speed limit. Literally two different cops pulled him overs (in an area where he'd been pulled over before for speeding) and asked him why he was going the speed limit. they were literally surprised and confused about him following the law! The cop's exact words were "You are going exactly the speed limit... why?" They didn't give him a ticket but it's crazy that cops will pull you over for following the law, That's California for you.

Same here Link. Failure to secure load. The load in back of my truck shifted and hit a truck going the other way. I could of ran. But instead I pulled over and called the cops. Took the ticket. Made sure nobody was hurt.
