In movies and series it sometimes feels to me, like lawyers in the Us are eloquent, charismatic talkmasters and it‘s more about their presentation, than actual laws 😁🙈 (but of course I know real life isn’t like movies 😆)… we do not have a jury in Germany at all - it‘s all just between the lawyer and the judge.

What a journey! I am sometimes passing by at Vinted too in my free time but always skiptic from those sellers that are not showing you the right pictures of their items. In this case, I always back off from buying. But when I was first time in Ebay, I got scam too. But in this case, I just paid but didn't recieved any item. We complain to the police and to Ebay and less than 2 weeks we got an invitation from Münich Court to be their as a witness. Found out that we are more than 30 buyers of that piece. She had to pay for everything like, hotel of the witnesses if they are far from the Court of Münich, their bus or train and worst plane ticket as well. But we refused to went there (not giving her more hotel & plane ticket to pay ) and instead we signed the witnessed document thing and asked for our money back. And 1 month later, she paid the whole amount in two separate payments. And that was 2015. I am glad that you are no longer sad seeing that piece anymore. It will just remind you how brave you are.

Thank you for sharing your story, I‘m glad, yours had a happy ending aswell! Most people that get tricked by online scammers unfortunately never see their money ever again. So both of us at least were lucky, after beeing unlucky 😅

Oh wow, such a story. It is heartbreaking that people would go this far to sell fakes. It is good you persisted and ultimately you got justice. If Germany is like France, if you are a student with not a lot of revenues, you can appeal to get a governmental help to get a public lawyer. When I was in college, I inquired about this because a landlord refused give me back my rental deposit and this dragged on for 1,5 years. Finally he gave up when I told him that he would have to pay a lawyer and that I was sponsored by the state in view of my revenues, so I had nothing to lose. This agenda is now a testmony of your triumphant victory. Never get rid of it !!

We get a lawyer if we have to defend ourselfs from something criminal and can’t afford one (but I‘m not quite sure, if it‘s this way aswell, when oneself decides to go to court 🤔) Thank you for sharing your thoughts 🥰

I guessed it right but I have to say that I couldn’t clearly be sure if you wouldn’t confirm it. I also recently got my LV PM agenda previously used and was panicking a bit. But it seems like mine is real. I completely understand why you were so upset. Even for a working person with a decent salary the prices are quite high. And even now I don’t think I would buy a new original agenda directly from the LV store. I like how it looks, but the prices are unreasonable for me :)

Omg... i would be so pissed if i received a fake. The lady sounded insincere and probably already knew it is a fake, see the way she flaked when you informed her it was inauthentic. Happy you persisted and authenticated with LV. I am really glad you perservered. In Singapore or asia, there are many fakes around, so i am very cautious over online reseller platforms. TFS dear and this is a reqlly useful video for luxury consumers like us! At least she got charged for intentional selling fakes.

@@LuMiLevelUp yea... i feel angry when u got scammed. And the lady surely had the intention to scam you and definitely more unsuspecting customers as well. The fact that they found fake receipts and more fake products in the house raid says alot about her intentions. I am glad she got what she deserved. 👍👍👍 we need more people like you to uncover such scammers! I too bought a fake Lady Dior that was sold to me by a lady claiming it was authentic, though i never went as far as you to expose her. I just "learnt my lesson" and let it pass. 🥲🥲

I would say the monogram is fake..the quality of leather. The red wallet/ planner stiching looks pretty good therefore its authentic? Hope I'm right?

I have just purchased my first LV MM planner through Japan site. In my heart I want to believe it is authentic with date code SP0973; says it was made in July 1993 in France…buuuuut, I do have my doubts only because I do not own anything else to compare it to. If anyone here is familiar with eBay seller next-innovation let me know if it is a good store or not. 😳😒 🙏🏼 Thank you for this story time, I see from your video library that your eye for luxury has gotten better 🤭… I am way older and have just begun my luxe journey, I just like to splurge and wish. I heard Japan is very strict with the rules for selling preloved items - so I think you are quite safe and most likely everything is fine with your purchase 🙏🏻 (also I think in 1993 the conterfeits have not been as good, as they might be today - and quite sure they don‘t put datecodes that old on the pieces now). I hope your planner is authentic and you can enjoy it 🤞🥰

I was too naive and nervous when I bought it 😕 but as soon I was at home and took a closer look, something felt off about it. I plan on doing a series called „Help me authenticate“ - since I own some secondhand pieces, that I‘m not 100% sure about. Would love if you would stick around there with your expertise aswell 🤗
