This series got me to thinking about all the fun times we had in HS, college and after where the grim reaper was around the corner. LMAO. You could be dancing and having fun one minute and then in full out sprint trying to escape some nonsense. The crazy thing is no matter how crazy you'd be back to having fun sometimes at the same spot like you didn't almost get shot the previous weekend. Please keep these coming.

When you said they climbed over the fence....That would have been my moment to exit. I be paranoid as hell at crowded events. I stay close to exits and watch my surroundings. I try to stay away from mess! Lol I don't do clubs very often and the only parties I do are dinner parties. I still love my life and have fun though.

Rox, hubby's role in this story? Dope! 'Cause you know about the "flight or fight" mode, but just learned (with a Budda) of the "fight or flight or freeze" mode. Always been there, but never heard it articulated quite like that before. It's true, in most harrowing situations a person will opt for one or the other, and this option is usually reflexive. The more common one? "Freeze!" Most crazy circumstance like this is shocking most are paralyzed, even if screaming, still, feet be STUCK. e.g.: a friend of a friend was in one of the buildings during Sept. 11, she shared that over the PA system it was ordered to "Remain Calm. Stay in your seats." One of her co-workers hollered out something to the effect of "Shit! Remain calm and all will be left are our remains!" With that, the WHOLE OFFICE BROKE FOR THE SSTAIRWELL! Luckily, I think they we3re on a lower floor. Said she left her pocketbook, pictures, keys, the whole 9, just GOT OUTTA THERE! Most are programmed to obey the PA's voice, that overhead instruction, liken to the voice-of-god or something. To have the mental fortitude to ignore it, save your life? Awesome! Another great share.
