+Joe H Chile, we were all young....from what he told me later he wasn't really around for the girl and kid, then started feeling guilty so he went on ahead and decided to try to work it out with her. I think the girl might have even been younger than me, so somewhere around 17 or 18. She lived at home with her parents and he was the MIA father of the baby.

This could have been an idea for a sitcom! I laugh so hard when you said," I should not say that Fuc** church, ok that Damn church" because of course that was so much better, BOL! What stood out to me was your conviction to save yourself until you were ready, good for you! All people not just young people cave into peer pressure daily. I can only imagine the heartbreak when the pastor called your "boyfriend" to the front of the church with his family. In hindsight you missed a missle not bullet but a missle, this joker was no good...I believe on subconscience level you knew that. I am of the volition that God will have someone confirm a truth to you if you are willing to hear it. He is always in midst of things where two or more agree; that prophet was your confirmation. More than likely, "Marcus" girlfriend cave into his pressuring and the end result her being a single parent. I truly enjoyed your storytime!

You know you have more sisters, cousins, best friends, etc than you can imagine because we feel like we really know you. When I'm telling people about your posts I'm always like "My friend Roxanne said," LOL. I'm praying for you and for the barometric pressure to stabilize so that you can get some relief. I hope you have more stories soon. BTW you look cute, your eyes are doing something different and its very nice.

OMG that happen to me at Youth Camp when I was 17. The pastor was the person who told me they were seeing each other because he saw my boyfriend and my friend together at the mall the weekend before the Youth Lock In. And he said he wanted to pray with me before we went on the trip and I saw them together. I think I cried on my first lady arm for 20 min... but the people at church thought I was in the spirit... I kept saying Lord take me....LOL. But I thought he would have been my first... but I'm glad I waited. I was a virgin until I was 19 and I married him... now 20 years strong.

My first love and heartbreak was in the church too and almost for the same reason. He never pressured me but we started dating about a year before he went to college and I always knew that in the back of my mind if we broke up it would probably be because of that. So of course he goes off to college and he realizes he can get ass whenever he wants so that was the end of that. Now he's starting to realize that he let go of a good thing, keeps staring at me and always tries to hug me and I'm just like no. buh bye.
@shannonburke5
@shannonburke5 9 жыл бұрын
+cutie3638 I can totally relate... it happened to me too! I knew he was going to break up with me because he was becoming more and more distant. Unfortunately, I gave it up as a last ditch effort and I wish I hadn't. He dumped me maybe a month before he went off to college. Fast forward a year later, I was a freshman in college he contacted me and we hooked up again, but this time I was not the same girl. We had been through so much in the past and I was determined not to play dumb the second time around, so I was going out with a number of guys. I eventually told him never to visit me again because I had gotten serious with someone... he was stunned! He honestly didn't think I would break up with him. Years later he told me that he thought I would always be there for him. Oh and that special someone is now my husband. We've been together for 12 yrs- married for soon to be 7 yrs. The funny thing is, I always thought that I would marry my 1st love... goes to show you that God always has other plans : )

I love story time Rox! I'm one of the young viewers, I'm 22 years old and I love hearing your wisdom! But you are so right, sometimes when you think in your mind he's the one, it's never it. I'm still coming to terms with that now smh 🙄.
