I get travel for work and sometimes they also buy a ticket for my girlfriend but they do not always buy the upgrade. So most of the time I try to get her an upgrade with my miles that I accumulated throughout the years. If not I fly eco and she goes business class its not a big deal lol

Grant it, my wife is pretty easy to please when it comes to spending money on her. For her, a date night is coffee at the local coffee shop and a walk together lol.
