People tend to forget that the instrumental core of STP is still there i.e. the DeLeo brothers and Kretz. Besides, if the band has to go on, Jeff is the next best alternative. Simple as that. Good luck guys. This band was the soundtrack to my teens and i'm glad that they will be around during my adulthood.

Well actually two similar situations, but the fact is that the album Black gives way to blue, it's one of the best return albums ever! Maybe only beat by ACDC Black in Back. This album is far from it... I really like some songs, this is one of them! but he still going to have prove a lot ... Duvall has been in the AIC for 10 years, even the most sceptic start accepting it, because the 3 albums kickass! Honestly, i'm glad they continued i'm curious to see what they do next, oh yes, we'll see!

I loved STP, but they weren't grunge. They were from L.A. and they came a little after that era and the Seattle grunge scene. Which changed my life and I'm grateful I was 17 when it [grunge] happened and I got to experience it at the time. It paved the way for STP and other bands. I'm also happy these guys are putting new stuff out. Peace.
