Mad frenetic cool slap bass line on this song written by Omar Lye Fook (also on keys)
Str4ta are the brain child of Jean Paul Bluey Maunick and Gilles Peterson, 2 album so far are definitely worth getting.
Few mistakes from me compared to the original and by (bad!) habit I keep adding more ghost notes than the original bass line. This is not the finished take on this song, I'll come back to it when my fingers have recovered haha

Haha, the ghosts may stay for take 2 😁 The Str4ta albums are definitely a modern but not too modern take on Britfunk, real instruments and real players. Omar LyeFook added his own twist to this tune, which sits in well on the album. Listen to the original, it won't have my mess on it 😉

Yes, the Omar touch is magical on that tune, and I like the Str4tasfear album (just listened to it !) ; To talk about another great Bluey project, I loved your Inner Shade "What's in the box" cover, and despite your playing is so right, so suitable, hearing a take 2 from you , with your present level of musical maturity, would be a great pleasure, if ever ... 🙄
