Ummm… No we didn’t know who would win. These one day races can be full of surprises. The favorites can crash or have a bad day (stomach bug) that’s why they are so exciting to watch. The only thing we knew was that there was a race and there were favorites that might have an edge over other competitors. So I disagree with your statement.
