I heard about Strahan through a Christian friend of mine and really loved his music, I liked his Facebook page and saw a post that he was playing in Wellington (where I live), I wasn't born again at the time, I just liked his music and didn't want to miss out on seeing him live. I went and I sat there holding back so many tears, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit so strong in the room. In between songs he spoke about his experiences with God and his journey so far, a lot of it was foreign to me but something kept stirring in my heart. It was so strange to be a nonbeliever sitting there experiencing the presence of God and the love and fire of everyone around me. I went home feeling this huge need to just weep. A year later, I walked into a church and gave my life to God and haven't looked back. Praise God for beautiful artists like Strahan, may God bless him and his family

Me too. And here I am again. But God keeps drawing me deeper. In the last 14 months, I've had three times of despair and depression that could easily have done me in. I've had to come to the end of myself and put my hope completely on Jesus and his redemption. And he's teaching me the way of the cross. Thanks for sharing.

I can’t begin to explain what this song has brought to life in me. It’s killed my pride and freed me to admit to myself that at times I wrestle with my faith. It gave me self-permission to feel this way when it seemed I would drown from the waves. It reminded me that Jesus for-knew this, yet still died on the cross for me. That my walk in this journey with my savior is meant to be hard and it’s okay at times to fall to the ground and ask my Almighty God to lift me from whatever ground I’m in. Honestly, few songs have had such impactive power on my soul. And I say soul purposely because when I listen to your song I feel your lyrics squeezing my heart. Thank you for allowing and opening your heart for the Holy Spirit to allow you to write down a message that reveals the power of how we are such beggars that we need the help of God to even believe. this is by far one of the greatest songs i ever heard. i watched the movie case for christ and i fell in love with it. This reminds of being 17 years old struggling with drug addiction and wanting to free. I think alot of us can relate or identify with the lyrics. Strahan is one if those fellows for the soul. He's not that famous in the Christian community or any music community for that matter, which I think makes his music actually more credible. He's not the popular type of artist, but when I listen to his music, I could feel the rawness of what worship is like when you have an actual relationship with Christ, the type of sound you won't be able to find in any secular or mainstream Christian music. I found about him after watching the movie "The Case for Christ," hearing his song at the credits. That song "Help me Believe" just made me go closer to God. Every time I face doubt, or during times of struggle and being embarrassed by my sin, when I don't even feel like worshiping Him, or reading the bible, God takes me back to him again using that song. A thank God for artist's like these.

I'm a believer and I don't struggle with disbelief but this song hits me so hard...incredible...I have listened to it nonstop for 24 hours now. The second verse is pure redemption and that is something that every single Christ follower can relate to. How ugly and undesirable our sin makes us, but Christ offers absolute redemption and opens his gates anyway. I don't think we ever truly "see clearly," what a phenominap song. "I want it so bad." What a heart cry.
