It's still visible for me. I've been trying to fine a join that isn't visible. But none of them have worked. (BTW I was using double crochet) Although the single crochet stack was very helpful. The seam is still very visible for me.

I use the stacked single in lieu of a double when I'm meant to do a turning chain that counts as a DC. It's ever so slightly "chunkier" but it keeps the edges tidier/straight & stops any gaps from a turning chain :)

Thank you. I'm a fairly new crocheter and I am making a dog sweater. The pattern uses a slip stitch to join rounds and it leaves a "seam". That just drives me crazy. I see that on a lot of items I have made and I know that it can be done without that seam. I found this post on IG and am so grateful. Now my work will look so much better.
