Thank you so much for reacting to this. I am not sure if Tom experienced this in high school but I am almost 38 years old and didn't experience this stuff until about 6 years ago. I thought that it was just a few people who were racist. This group of people were always plotting against me to cause trouble and two of them said some racist things to me. After the past couple of years I have come to see that there is a large portion of Americans that hate white people. That also includes other white people. I didn't realize how popular it was to blame people for things based on their skin color alone. I have come to realize that the government, media, school system and big tech have been in cahoots to teach hatred towards whites by only teaching part of history and making sure it's skewed much in the same way that the media does about current events. It seems to have been a long game of divide and conquer.
@canadianuser64533 жыл бұрын
I'm 41, Canadian, and went to university only 8 years ago, graduated 3 years ago. In my last year, the white hate started bubbling up. I thought it was just young kids who didn't take any responsibility for themselves and prefer to blame everyone than do anything themselves. Funny thing is, the only people that started bashing white people in class were the white girls, and it was mostly directed at white men. Whenever the discussion of race came up, the white girls talked over everyone, to the point of spitting while they were telling. Meanwhile, they shut down any other minority when they started talking. These girls were supposedly standing up for minorities but shut them down immediately. My girlfriend is Iranian and I remember coming home talking with her about how they kept bashing white people (white men at the time) in class, and she immediately said they're the racist ones, and asked how many of them are in interracial relationships. How many of them came from a hard life. How many of them truly understand hardship. I thought it was just kids and I thought it was a phase, but everything has snowballed since and I feel keeps getting worse. We need all perspectives, and we need intelligent discourse to solve humanity's problems. Yelling, screaming, and blaming others that honestly have not in any sense contributed to past atrocities is just going to take us further down a shitty rabbit hole.

Whether they're white or black they are human just like you so don't treat em any different and if they do that's on them, but I won't let you look at them any different for their skin, but just their actions".
