Oldie Productions Yep, I’ve been a subscriber since before you joined the Army. When I was looking for a four door car I considered an STI, but I needed more room so I got an Accord Touring 2.0T.

GA08GT I really appreciate you sticking around man, means a lot. The STI is a great car other than being slightly overpriced. And the accord is a great option as well. Those cars have sparked my interest and hopefully one day I’ll be able to have one on the channel.

Good call on resonating that loud sonb**ch! From personal experience, removing just the rear mufflers keeps a clean deep tone. That's if you have the mid-pipe resonated of course... Take care ✌️

Mister -_- McGill I originally wanted an STI midpipe which has a resonator. But could only find a WRX midpipe unfortunately so this is the result. It’s all good though. Got some stuff in the works for maybe a completely custom catback.

Wow dude i dont know anything about cars but how did you get your sti to sound like it has a V8 engine in it, did you just remove your mufflers and so on? Or did you do something else too? It sounds amazing

It was straight piped from the Catback. It had no resonator and no mufflers. I wouldn't say it sounds like a V8, but it definitely had a deep tone.

Your car sounds so amazing dude !! I have resonator and muffler delete on mine and I’m thinking of tuning to stage 2 and getting the same catted downpipe as you, how does it run? Do you have any problems with tune or anything?

I'm going to reply to both of your comments here starting with this one. My car runs perfect with the mods it has and the tune I'm running. I would strongly recommend not running the Cobb stage 2 map as it's not specifically tuned for your car. You can run into issues with that. I'm running a torqued performance 93 tune @20 PSI and I only use shell 93 octane and I run mobil 1 5w30 oil in the winter and mobil 1 5w40 in the summer. Everything I've done to the car has been to make it more reliable and it's paying off so far. over 10k miles tuned with no issues. All that's left reliability wise is the cylinder 4 cooing mod (Which I'll be doing an install video on soon) and an equal length header. I don't currently have any outside clips or flybys with the exhaust setup that it has now, but you've inspired me to do that soon.

Oldie Productions I was gonna custom tune mine too so it’s specifically made for my car and use 5w oil and run 92 gas with it so it’ll be healthy

Foreign.Media Unfortunately I put a resonator back on it so it’s not this loud anymore. The straight pipe was awesome but it was way too raspy for daily driving. May do it again if I buy something as a daily. But it sounds damn near perfect with the setup I have now.

No. Anything from the catback does not require a tune. So as long as you don’t touch the downpipe you’re fine 👍
