Jonas, When you are tired to be in your man-cave please write a list of your new motorparts so we other can try to catch up with you on the next tribe meeting. Its so relaxing to know that you have tried out the best… In my case i have a 964 - with many miles - which need a heavy upgrade to 3.8 L! Thanks for the best KZbin channel - by far! //Peder

Came over on Phil's shout out. Does the system not need a Flexi, or some kinda slip joint? I get that it's mounted to the cradle of the engine so you don't have the usual engine to chassis movement, but thermal expansion?

There is some flexibility in the collectors as well as the mount to the engine mount is flexible (wide piece of sheet metal).

Cool! I guess the GT3 aside from sound restriction look also quite better. I know its not its purpose but still. Also you save way more over stock 964 if you count the second muffler, original must be about 40kgs at least! Crazy.

@@islandworks there is also something called a "beehive muffler ". They slip into your exhaust tips. Not tunable, but do reduce db's with out restrictions. I have used them on motorcycles with success.

@islandworks3 жыл бұрын
It’s tough man! But I’ll get there eventually!
@Russell_and_Rosko3 жыл бұрын
The key is cleanliness. Everything must be sterile inside and out. It’s a good idea to backpurge with stainless tubing to avoid sugaring. I still have a lot to learn, but I managed to weld for Singer for a while. An amazing opportunity and something I’m very proud of. Tig welding is a worthwhile skill to learn regardless of the steep learning curve.

I think you should put catalytic converters in it. Even racecars should have it and it will help you get the exhaust quieter.

@fuuswag98353 жыл бұрын
@@islandworks ahhh didnt think you was running them being a track car, well theres that idea then 😅 also just an idea, if its a flying db reading and not a static they do, you could cut some pie cuts and have the tip s face down, helped alot with my r34
@zzzzzsleeping3 жыл бұрын
how do you know if the tips will be in the middle of the body of the car?
