Look for Geelong or Sydney to win this year as their form line stacks up (14 and 8 wins in a row) as well as their finishing position. As a lions supporter, I don't disagree that Zorko did the wrong thing, but the reports came out after that the Dee's were the one who initiated the sledging and that the things they were saying to Zorko were supposedly worse than what he said. To be fair, Zorks should have ignored and focus on the footy, but at the same time, don't start something if you can't handle the heat when it comes back on you

Melbourne have had minor issues all year that they’ve usually been able to play through (no structure in the forward line for example) but they’re biggest issue is capitulating when they lose momentum and it goes the other way. As soon as the momentum and pressure swings they look like an average side. I hope they can remedy that next year because they easily have Essendon 2000 vibes with that issue fixed

Doggies fan here. I used to like the Dees, and all credit to them for some incredible footy in the granny last year, they deserved to win after our implosion. Definitely don’t hate the Dees for that. What really irked me was the behaviour of both players and supporters in the wake of the GF. By all rights they deserved to be happy and to celebrate, but the arrogance they all did it with was ridiculous. I’d have thought after the previous decade that Melbourne had, they’d have a little humility and perhaps respect for their opponents, but that wasn’t so. It makes me really happy that this happened, because maybe the Dees and their supporters will actually be bought back to earth a little.

Watched a bit of your channel and even though I'm not a Dee's supporter I found your content and commitment to your Dee's superb and honestly I just thought a few of the Dee's players and supporters were drinking their bath water a bit to much this season and I completely understand the feeling after your team wins the flag and did it so convincingly last season and the expectation from a starved supporter base after the granny last year was you had a dynasty squad i.e like Hawthorne of the late 2000s or Richmond of the last few years. But I think unlike the other two dynasty teams I mentioned, The Dee's have two major problems in why they struggled this season and this is just my opinion but they rely to much on a handful of players like Gawn, Petracca, Oliver, Lever and May. Outside of that group theres a lot of role players who don't spread the load enough and stand up in big moment's and you take two players out of that five I mentioned and the Dee's would struggle big time. The second major issue is with a game plan that might of worked last season but for the coaching staff not to adapt and have other methods of playing when things are not working is mind blowing 🤦🏽‍♂️ cause every team knows when playing The Dee's it's about contest and trying to at worst limit the damage around the ball cause of the Ruck & midfield bulls the Dee's possess, then there's May and Lever love to drop of their opponents and intercept any long bombs into their backline and that's Melbourne DNA in a nutshell but teams know forward of centre all the Dee's will do is send Gawn or Jackson forward and just bomb it in and hope one of the bigs get a lucky mark or they make a bit of a contest and maybe Fritsch or Pickett can snag a few crumbing goal's. Easy opponents to start the season which made 10-0 record better than it was and just masked a horrible game plan which when the good teams started facing the Dee's midway through the season it became easy to play against and coach against the Dee's were their own worst nightmare with no Plan A, B or C. A good team badly coached 🤷🏾‍♂️
