Straight stitch - Carlson Combo Row 2 - for pine needle baskets

The straight stitch is the anchor row that forms the base structure for the Ti stitch, which is row 3. Using the double loop method makes the stitches stay straight.
I want to thank my friend, Betty. We worked together to figure out how to do this stitch.
