As a salesman for these in the past ill give everyone some insight on these and the verizon ones 1. They arent geolocked regardless what verizon bitches and moans about. 2. You can use these in semis. Our store was located in a truckstop. 3. If you want to expand the wifi range, there is a tutorial on how yo adapt the antenna wire to an external antenna and it works. You can use a top mounted antenna for your truck or a yard antenna. Whatever strikes your fancy 4. Activate it in the location you bought it at. If you are in walmart. Bum a plug and set it up on property and it will be a hell of alot easier than setting it up at home. We used to set up the customers boxes in our pilot even though we werent a qualified address

@@chaeuhlemannI have (at@t internet air). The device can mess up with your systems (location settings). Ex: (1)My desktop is always in one place at my house. I got one earlier today from Walmart and just hooked it up 4 hours ago. I had to use a relative address that's 6 miles away to get service. I called customer care to activate mine using the $45 activation card that I had handy. Customer care told me it could take 30 minutes to an hour for the white light to turn solid. So far 4 hours have passed still flashing white not solid but I'm able to use the device at high speeds so I will not complain. Customer care also told me I should be able to use the device before the white light turned solid so far so true.

Nope. Not that. It’s the capacity and amount of towers. That’s why. If there’s either very few towers or the towers are older and have less capacity. Or even have a large population they will say it’s “incompatible”. That’s to prevent an always on connection from messing with people’s cell service quality. The more devices that are using a tower the more congested they become thus the slower and more unreliable service becomes. That’s a huge reason why they created priority ques on cell towers. The first being post paid cell service. Then first party prepaid cell. Then first party home internet. Then third party post paid cell (almost non existent). Then third party prepaid cell. Then third party home internet. That’s why certain times of the day (when more people are using them) the towers will push your bandwidth really really low to give those higher on that list better service. That’s a huge reason why rural people with hardly any towers have a hard time with service period without a booster of some kind. Let alone the entire thing about where the tower antennas are pointed or whether your device can connect to the tower at all. Rural areas are really fucked when it comes to good reliable high speed (50mbps+) unlimited usage internet.

@Anonymous-dy5hb8 ай бұрын
It’s easy to see if you have a strong (5G signal). What you do is this: -On (iPhone), disconnect from Wi-Fi. Once you disconnect from Wi-Fi -> in top right corner of your screen, it might say (5G). -The more bars you have, the stronger your 5G signal is. (at@t internet air) gains a stronger “internet speeds” -> via having a stronger 5G signal. FYI: Place your (fixed wireless internet/at@t home internet) in an open room. -Room with a lot of windows -> so the (at@t internet air) will have an easier time picking up 5G signals, from 5G cell towers. -Place (at@t internet air), above the ground. So, on a desk. On the ground = on ground level/on the floor.
