I just washed my hair after 2 weeks of straight hair and ahhhhh it feels good! Not that it necessarily gets dirtier when it's straight its just harder to touch up in between washes than when its curly. I love straight hair it makes life easier for a bit then I miss my curls and my routines!! I still can't believe you straighten your hair at that length it must take patience for sure! Love your channel keep up the great videos!

This brings me back to my 20's when my hair was as long as yours (just about to the back of my knees). I am Mexican and Italian so I had a massive heap of thick straight black hair. You should try DIY flaxseed gel if you haven't yet. It's super moisturizing and you can add oils to it if you want. I have it in my hair now and it feels so soft with lots of definition and it shows my natural volume while controlling frizz.

Have you noticed that your curl pattern has loosened as it grows? I'm just wondering if it's normal for the weight of your hair to alter your curls.

Your hairs curl pattern doesn't change as it grows longer. It appears looser because of more weight pulling the strands downward. Now, if he were to lay on his back and had his curls lay on a flat surface, you would see his curls with out gravity grabbing it longways

It’s gravity. The longer my hair grows, the looser my curls look. If I cut it, would look as if my hair was extremely kinky and had no coils, but my hair (stretched) is past my collar bones, but I have coils.

You have great hair. I recently just buzzed mine off. Now I'm growing it back out so it's virgin hair and I'll be doing hot oil treatments once a week and I'll do deep conditioning and I'll only be cutting my hair once a year by getting a quick dusting of the tips. Before I buzzed my hair my hair was in the middle of my back. Truthfully, I miss it very much. But my hair grows fast. AT LEAST 1 inch a month. But I also take biotin pills everyday. I might start using aloe for my hair and skin, too.

I know I'm not him, but he's said before that he's had his hair basically his whole life. Like, he only got trims when growing up, never any haircuts. So his hair has been growing out for many many years.

Hey Gio! Nice reversion! No heat damage!🎉 I have a suggestion: I use "Curl definer styling custard" by Beautiful Textures for my curls. My hair is more of a wavy curly but this stuff forms ringlets in my hair! A lady at Sally's Beauty supply turned me on to it! Try it you might like it...😉

I hate that line's conditioner lol. My hair had to recover for 2 weeks from that legit. It made my hair so dry so some reason. It doesn't work well on type 4 hair.

doThatGWalk which one did you use? Just the conditioner or the mask? I have type 4 as well and it makes my hair feel soft like cotton lol. I have only used the purple one and i always follow up with their deep conditioner/mask. My hair gets dry if i dont do a deep condition.
