I flat ironed my hair for the first time and I’m so nervous because I’m scared of heat damage. As expected my hair had a lot of split ends ( that’s the down side of wearing it in its natural state ALL the time because you won’t be able to see the split ends ). I will start straightening it often so that I take care of my ends . My hair felt weighed down therefore in the future I won’t use a leave in conditioner or hair butter on it after deep conditioning .
