love they way you take the time to think about people with limited mobility in their arms, not that that's me or anything, I just think you're so intuitive and sweet 🤗😇

I was just thinking what a good point that was to mention people that might have issues using other tools that require quite a grip.

I'm so used to focusing on the corsets you're reviewing that I sometimes forget just how long your hair is! You look fabulous, btw! :)

I am kind of impressed that it worked on your hair as well as it did. I have tried other brush stylers before, and the only thing I get is a fluffy mess. Most of my hair is relatively curly and fine, and most brushes, in general, just puff it out. I mostly finger-style, or use a comb if I need to. I do use a wooden brush to stimulate the scalp before braiding it and going to bed, but I wouldn't dream of doing that before work, unless I was already going to wear it up. :0)

I think it might be useful for curly hair to pre-straighten it, so it's easier to polish it with just one pass of flat iron later. Or when you want to wear your hair down but have some weird creases from a previous hairdo.
@Ayumi6697 жыл бұрын
my hair is straight, but only when it's long. So I don't use a flat iron anymore. But I heard that the brush is good when you have long and thick hair.

They certainly picked a great model to show off their product. ♥

I have the same product and I love it. I don't like ironing my hair as it becomes flat. I want the blow dried straight look which is achieved by using this brush in a shorter perio of time and easier too than blow drying. My hair is thick and naturally wavy. I have to make sure that my hair is 90% dry before using it.

Wow, I just saw this brush in the pharmacy and am considering it. Thanks, I think I will like it. My hair used to be poker straight but has developed curl, especially in back. I think if I want it straight, this will do the trick for me. What was the spray you used first? I'm a klutz now a days so the limited mobility issue was appreciated.
@LucysCorsetry7 жыл бұрын
Oh! The spray was CHI 44 Iron Guard spray. :) One bottle has lasted me over 10 years, if that's any indication of how often I use heat on my hair.

How often do you get your hair trimmed?
@LucysCorsetry7 жыл бұрын
I trim it myself a few times a year. I have a couple of tutorials showing how I trim my own hair.

your hair is gorgeous😍😍😍😍, hey Lucy is your natural hair wavy or curly? sounds like a dumb question but when the hair is so long your pattern could be altered
@LucysCorsetry7 жыл бұрын
Some parts of my hair are type 2c and some parts are 3a, it depends on how long it is (like my bangs will curl). But my curl pattern is definitely relaxing with age as well, it's not as curly as it was 10-15 years ago!

Do you have any suggestions on how to manage the frizz/velcro, like products that work for you? I don't know how I missed this video until now! I just bought another brand's (basically identical) brush straightener a few days ago and had the same results. My hair is frizzy (what you described as velcro I think) and wavy, curly in some places but not so long, between my shoulders and mid-back. Flat irons take so long I don't use them, and they also flatten my fine hair so much I haven't loved the results--hair looks so much thinner. This brush straightener's effects didn't seem to last long, but I may have done it too quickly/used too much hair at once. I liked that my hair wasn't so weighted down, but I definitely still need to find some product to use on my hair and learn how to use it properly (I can never duplicate the results they give me at the salon with the same products). I had looked into long term blowouts, but I just can't afford it. Sick of my frizzy unkempt mess though.

would you be using it more often than a straightener ? and do you think it would cause less damage then a straightener?
@LucysCorsetry7 жыл бұрын
I'm honestly not sure if it would cause less damage than a flat iron, because it seems I have to go over my hair with more passes and higher heat if I want to get it equivalently straight. But I rarely want my hair pin straight, so I can see myself using this brush straightener more often than my flat iron.

What do you mean. Adriana? I still regularly make corset videos and reviews, but I do enjoy doing the occasional hair video! Just because I do hair videos doesn't mean that I'm moving away from corsets. :)
