"Know my name! Know I mean it! It's not as bad as it seems -- and we try in our own ways to get better, even if we're alone." Absolutely perfect. Perfect. You're telling your story, but you're telling mine too. Thank you.

This guy is incredible. I saw Strand of Oaks play a benefit show last weekend and it was awesome. The guy is like some sort of motivational Rock n Roll speaker. So much positive energy. I would of stormed a fortified castle with SOA if they asked me to.

i’m a shut in/agoraphobe. have been since about 2011. this song has been my anthem for the near-decade it’s been out. i wish this song didn’t resonate with me anymore. i wish i didn’t relate to it so much. but regardless i’m glad to have it.

***** I see what you mean. I think in this particular video, though, his mouth didn't sync up with the vocals mostly because he was singing them as if he was talking in response to the interviewer. There's lots of artist that actually do perform their music in videos, even though the pre-recorded audio is used for the actual sound-tracking. It is a bit jarring, though, watching a video and watching an artist Milli Vanilli their way through their own song.

I have to say, I love this song, but it would be nice if there's no music in this video, just a conversation. There's an interesting premise here.
