My wife and I were briefly hugged by this bear of a man at Newport Folk Festival after his set. We then saw him open for MMJ at the Orpheum in Boston. Love to hear the direction in which he is pointed. Cheers.

I saw him in Columbus when HEAL came out. He did the same thing after the show - came into the crowd and hugged everyone. I had a chance to briefly talk to him after. What a humble, grateful dude.

I listened to this song so much when I broke up with an ex-girlfriend a few years ago that I remember listening to it endlessly for days on end as I got over that girl. Today after another break up with the one I considered the "love of my life" due to the distance and other stuff , I had to go live in another country, it comes back to me to help me heal again, with another meaning, with another value, in another time, in another place... God bless Strand of Oaks

Never cease to amaze me how great SOA can be. Channelling a higher power of some kind, they become so much more than the sum of their parts. How could you make this better? Exactly. As timeless as music itself.

I still remember the show they gave on Best Kept Secret Festival (2015) in Europe, at that time I didn't know anything about the band and all I knew was I was just missing METZ on another stage... but just in front of me Timothy Showalter was givin' a kinda speech about the facts that american people love to talk a lot and sometimes just for saying nothing much. But that time Timothy was just true, deep and full of love and gratefulness. So he just let the words flowin' and quietly started playing "Heal". My eyes and my heart were just stucked... I cried without knowing why. The song, the words, the power, the resiliency... I don't know. Strand Of Oaks deserves more than love and rock'n'roll
