Flight is hard. Even harder with that kind of airframe. Im impressed at how well it flew actually, it appears like you have got the wing position correct, and when it was held down, it flew extremely well! however I am not well versed in vehicles more akin to parasails than wings so... Maybe look at those to see how they get over such issues as high wind speeds, etc? Either way, Im excited to see these flying as well as they do all the other tasks they've accomplished!
@RomboutVersluijs4 жыл бұрын
My guess, the shapes of the wings or kites attache so to say. They have inward flow, it looked like the flow was instable and the counter part could not correct that flow. He woulld need to figure out how to keep a more steady flow.
@RomboutVersluijs4 жыл бұрын
Feels almost impossible to do. due to the weight of the core, the wings bend, due to that the winges have these bulges. Perhaps what could help is having the inner parts of the wings near the core be detached so pressure of wind flows of the wing. Now in flows towards the so called fuselage. This causes instability
@aeromodeller12 жыл бұрын
@@RomboutVersluijs The coxcomb broke, jammed to one side and caused it to roll into the ground. Also, having about five flying lines prevents it from adjusting to varying wind direction. A five point bridle attached to a single flying line might be more successful.

Yes, it is Khachaturian’s Spartacus, and it was used as the title music for the BBC’s 18th Century merchant sailing fleet drama series, ‘The Onedin Line’ in the 1970s which I suspect may have influenced its use here.
