Selective cutting is definitely the way to go. Clear cutting is such a waste of potential. I grab all of the 28-30 trees like you did. Lightning rod soon just to protect the camp, or Hope9000 might end up being kind of a walking lightning rod... 😉 Good show!

Hope needs spare parts to be healed (note the gear icon in the health window), which you banned earlier in the food window. Also, the attackers will break down walls to get to you (double lines of fencing seems to mitigate this as long as they are not too close together). Weather in this biome is mostly mild, just keep everyone clothed and have some straw hats around for the hot season. Good luck.

You say about clear cut reminds me of my trip to see family in west virginia back in the mid 2000s and them telling me the same thing, once you are off the high ways the backs of the mountains are all clear cut from logging and cole 😢

I knooow right? It's so sad - but I understand we need the resources to make sweet homes to put rugs in, but still - clearcutting is just a bit sad
