About this game:
Stranded Deep is a survival game that takes place in the Pacific Ocean. The game is procedurally generated, meaning the world is randomly generated each time you play. The game is unforgiving and will punish players who don't know what they're doing.
Following a severe plane crash caused by unknown circumstances, the player wakes up to find that they are the lone survivor of the ordeal. With nothing but their skills and what they can find in the environment, they must survive in the islands of the Pacific.
Throughout their journey, the player will encounter many exotic views, many hazards, and many of the ocean's fauna: lush coral reefs, vast sights, an abundance of fish and marine life, as well as more significant features such as sharks and even whales. Though these sights may capture the awe and attention of the player, they must steer clear of many things; some may poison, while others will outright kill the player.
Survival on the islands will determine whether or not the player has the necessary skills needed to thrive on such a vast but empty environment. The player will need to keep themselves satiated on food and water in order to prevent them from starving. Crafting also becomes a key skill when surviving, as different tools are needed for different purposes. axes and hammers can be used for building. Shelters can be erected to decorate any island, and crude vehicles can be crafted to aid the player in travel.
Along with using the available resources found on land, the player may also choose to explore the waters in search of supplies left behind by past explorations. The leftover remnants of ancient ships and crashed planes and their cargo can be discovered strewn around the islands. Players are able to use these supplies to aid them in their survival, and may also possibly increase their chances of a rescue. However, exploring all waters comes with a risk, as deadly marine life can be found dwelling the waters around them, putting the player in danger.

To make you feel a little safer underwater, the stingray will not harm you, nor can you harm them. Air tank can also be used by your character to increase dive time. No need to make the raft engine yet because you will not have any fuel for it. Moving from island to island with the sail and rudder will work fine.

Agreed, I prefer sailing personally, it has more of an ancient explorer vibe to it, and like Bob and I have said earlier you will need to grow and process a LOT of spuds to use it successfully. 😀

You probably already figured it out but the air tanks can be used while swimming. Just equip them and they give you air. It allows you to stay underwater much longer. Then you can use the spent tank for a spear gun. Also, the only things in the water that hurt you if I'm not mistaken, are the sea snakes, lionfish, sea urchins, and of course the sharks (except for the smaller ones that float around with the other animals in the ocean}

That ugly worm type that you see lying in the shallows might be a Sea cucumber. Im told they have a gelatinous texture, never eaten one but my husband has though he isn’t a fan! 😮

It can be easier to see the spray for the underwater wrecks from the beach in the night. I can be marked by stabbing a spear in the ground to mark it.

You don’t need the engine to use the raft. You can sail with a rudder and a sail
