Dans lʼAlaska de la fin du 19e siècle, Hawk, un trappeur robuste, fait la rencontre imprévue dʼun élan surnaturel, annonciateur de lʼapocalypse.

Je ne commente que très rarement sur KZbin ! Mais les détails de l'animation et ce scénario à la fois épique et imprévisible ! Cette chute, comme "la chute d'une blague", étrange mais poétique et qui prend tellement sens à la fin. Pour le coup, vous avez réussis à faire passer toutes une palette d'émotion en seulement quelques minutes.. Juste Magique. Merci pour cette pépite que je ne manquerais pas de faire découvrir !

Wouaaaah, réellement splendide à tous les niveaux ! Que ce soit l'animation de la neige le poids la lumière quand il a allume sa lampe là, la dimension mystique la peau sur son dos les mouvements je suis vraiment bluffée !! Au delà de ça même le scénario tient en haleine et est intéressant réellement félicitations pour ce travail !!

I gave it a thumbs up, but it's a split decision: 1. Animation: absolutely fantastic in the opening sequence. I was startled that ESMA was allowing live footage, gorgeous. Even the first footsteps looked so real. Score: 100% 2. Storytelling: The story was told with emotion and struck at the heart. Score: 100% 3. Story: The beginning was mystical, and I loved it. The middle with him running for his life and mourning for Buck was heartfelt. The cut scenes of floating and falling fed to the mystical side. And here is where I think it failed of perfection. The ending in a snowglobe broken by a child, even if we are to believe that his life continues in all those remaining, failed utterly for me. A drop from the sublime to the trite. A slam from mystical to mundane. Another story of worlds within worlds; I had hopes for something far better than that. Score (Beginning): 100% Score (Middle): 100% Score (Ending): 0% Score: 66% Overall Score: 88.6%

The snowglobe/child ending is a tribute to the final episode of ‘St. Elsewhere’. It’s perfect.
