Au Service Après Vie, l’âme Gaspard n’a pas assez de points Karma pour se réincarner en la merveilleuse vie de Paon qu’il désire. En attendant, il se voit proposer un pack de vies ordinaires qu’il va devoir subir…
At the After-life service, the soul Gaspard doesn’t have enough Karma points to reincarnate into the beautiful peacock he wishes to become. Meanwhile, he can only opt for an ordinary pack of lives he will have to endure.

@@paunda1466 We could help you translate and learn a bit... It is affordable. It is useful to know that a very large amount of the words are almost the same in French... Like "film", "table", "triangle", "combat", "long", "arts" (randomly chosen) which are exactly the same. ...or very similar, like beauté (beauty), légendaire (legendary), plaisant (pleasant), héros (heroes), etc... You may already know many words in French without even knowing that you know them... 😉

It's based off the 'karma' concept that comes from the three main religions that began in India; Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Essentially, every single living thing on the planet has a soul, and every time you die, your soul is reincarnated. If you led a good life, you've gained good karma, and you can 'move up' in your reincarnation--say you were a cat, and during your life you were good to the kittens and fair to your colonymates. You get reincarnated into a monkey! But, say you're more of a 'fuck you got mine' kinda cat--y'know, the toms that kill kittens and bully others away from food. You get reincarnated into a mouse! Being a human is essentially the 'endgame', because when you earn good karma as a human you get to ascend to the afterlife! That's the basic gist of it. The guy didn't have enough 'good karma' to get the life he wanted, and when he signed up to the program, he agreed to live three randomly chosen 'lesser' lives to earn his karma. Thing is, he wanted all of the reward and none of the work. He broke the contract he agreed to. That's what the problem was.

The main difference is that in the soul in the short film use a large tablet-like device called the machine of the after life service which was use by the soul in the short film so they could choose which living thing they wanted to reincarnated into . The after life service machine remind me of the self order kiosk that are ussualy seen in McDonalds restaurant
