We love the drone shots, the coastline looks so beautiful. Where did you go for that yummy looking hot chocolate? Instead of going to Orlando this year (because it got cancelled) we are coming up to Filey & Bridlington for a week in September so we too can walk along the beaches come rain or shine we won’t care especially if we can get a delicious hot chocolate. We put our bread in the freezer and take out what we need but I do put wraps in the fridge because in hot weather they go mouldy very quickly. Well done Nick on your 2.5lb weight loss 👍🏻

We do have Public Footpaths in the US. Mostly on public land. Hiking trails, walking paths, and nature trails. Here in Atlanta we have really popular ones like the Beltline and Silver Comet Trail that were paved over old Railroad Lines that were not in use anymore. They connect neighborhoods and villages that had never been connected before and lots of new businesses and housing have built up around them.

I love the beaches you frequent. We have to go to New Jersey to get the ocean. Our beaches are filled with sunbathers and people like me who just want to go for a walk not in a bathing suit are few and far between!

Re bread you shouldn’t put it in the fridge and take it in and out as the temp change as you take the bag out condensate the bag and that moisture trapped in the bag is what speeds up the moulding , but should be ok if you just take it from the bag in the fridge

I usually use the bread for about 2 days then put the rest in the freezer and only use it for toast after that. Tip: leave it out for about 10 minutes before toasting as it turns out better.

It’s true that we don’t have public walkways in quite the same way you do, but at least here, and I think in other cities as well, there are greenways that you can walk or run on. They are usually paved, and there’s actually one that goes right by the condo complex I live in. It goes all the way around a public golf course and over a creek. There are plenty of places to hike in some of our public parks as well, particularly some of the larger ones.

Lane Wright I agree Lane. Where I live in California, we have a lot of public walking paths but most are paved (unless they are hiking trails in the open space) and well marked with signage. I would also say that it is common to have some sort of boundary (fence, canal, shrubbery, etc) to separate them from housing. It was so fascinating to see the foot paths in the UK.

I know how it is to be IT support... my father in-law always calls me for support. Last week it was “it’s dead it won’t do anything”. I freeze my bread in the summer. I been bitching at my husband and Nick for standing in front of the fridge air conditioning their bits. So, I went and put a thermometer in my fridge at the front. Told hubby he's got till the thermometer hits 35 F to browse. Also said if his memory is so bad he can't remember what's in the fridge, to just take a g.d dammed picture.
