Fun fact: Dave Thomas (actor for Doug McKenzie) said in an interview that he and Rick Moranis (actor for Bob) kind of rewrote or edited about the first half of the movie script, including by adding the Mutants of 2051 AD part. He said that if they had gotten to rewriting the whole script like they wanted to, the movie would’ve ended up being weirder and more conceptual, and probably more like this beginning part. The main reason they didn’t do that is that they mistakenly believed at first that SCTV might sue them. I must say, a movie where you’re watching a theater of people watch a movie with Bob & Doug watching their own movie would’ve been a fascinating concept to play with. I still love Strange Brew as it is, though.

I give it... No pun intended... THREE BEERS! Like, I would've gave it four but I only had a few loons left, eh, so like, I couldn't get another two four, otherwise, this movie would have been a Molson Award winner for best movie, best set decorating, cause they got all of the world in, eh, also best music for that rendition of the great white north theme, that's beauty, eh, and best actor or rather actors, since, like, y'know, both the brothers are like the stars so, like, that's two best actor awards. That's a world record movie, eh?
