It is plant time again. This'll be the last part - enjoying the game but it's settled into a pretty familiar pattern and seems quite long.

Loved this just as much as part one. I was *so* convinced that you were going to get the plant for mental clarity from the place you needed hypothermia plant for and I was in agonies that you hadn't been there to pick it up. But then you went there immediately after and got totally different plants, which was a weird kind of relief. (I do think you now have mental clarity plant, though, for if visions lady comes back.)

Almost impressed at that clue. Here's where to look, also here's a completely unrelated drawing of a river, in case you were unfamiliar with the concept of maps.

Love all the laughter at the place names, when it’s all taken from the real life Lake District - the only difference I can see being that ‘Windermere’ has been renamed ‘Undermere’. Sizergh is pronounced ‘SIGH-zer’, for instance: it’s a National Trust property 😅 Admittedly, Dungeon Ghyll totally sounds made up.

I don’t know how it works later but it seems strange that there’s no real deliberate way to go out and collect plants. Seems like the book should also tell you the kind of area that each plant grows

That's pretty fun that the day after you randomly explored the stone circle the detective came by needing to go there for a murder. I wonder if that's intentional ore just a very fun coincidence. On a note related to that interaction, perhaps there's a difficulty setting to not show the requested labels immediately? I wouldnt know, but someone in the first episode's comments mentioned being able to turn on auto-labeling known plants to make it easier, perhaps there's other customization settings to make it a tad harder too?

when they gave you the second plant that looks like lady of summer, i thought it was gonna bite you because youd labelled it without the game confirming that was what it was, and then it gave you another plant that might be that. and then when it wanted you to produce lady of summer, just believed your own label. but it was fine, nothing bad happened

You forgot to label Brimlock after identifying it. It's the big leaf one with no flowers. Currently on the top shelf of the unidentified section. Also sorry if the multiple comments is a bit much, you can let me know if that's the case. Just commenting as things come up and keeping the comments separate as they are all different topics (if they were similar comments i would be just doing a Reply thread)

This doesnt seem like the type of game to give copyright strikes. Id dispute that and also contact the devs on twitter or something to see if it was even them in the first place. Alternatively, or in the meantime, you might want to put some copyright-free music in the background, as there's a lot of silence when you're contemplating things, which happens a lot with this kind of puzzley game

The comments about game design made me realize how agonizingly hard it must be to write a tutorial for this. If it is too short a significant portion of players will get stuck once more complex deductions are thrown at them, if its too long some people will get annoyed. I guess this is always a risk when making linear-ish puzzle games? I am surprised how janky the map camera is because I didn't notice it while playing. Maybe using the navigation button to open the map works better? The zoom doesn't seem map specific unless the map is fullscreen.
