Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in 2024 with the markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?
@HectorWhitney6 ай бұрын
Just ''buy and hold'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder

Very true, you can be passively involved in the markts and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.

This is striking! could you share info of your advisor, please? i'm in dire need of asset allocation and standing at a crossroads, whether to sell-off or keep holding my positions, my portfolio is retrogressing bad as of late

There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’ Melissa Terri Swayne” for about five aiyears now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

Thank you for saving me hours of back and forth investigation into the markets. I simply copied and pasted her full name into my browser, and her website came up first in search results. She looks flawless.

Certain equities normally rise around this time of year, but that is unlikely given the present recession and economic environment. I have a lot of stocks with the hopes of making money this month, but I'm not sure if I should retain them or sell them. I've been losing money since Q2 2022, and the outlook for investors in 2024 does not look promising.

If you expect a larger market downturn, I recommend evaluating the firms in your portfolio and their future prospects. Seeking expert advice from an investing consultant may assist you in reorganizing your portfolio and balancing out underperforming assets. This strategy has relieved my stress and anxiety while also saving me time.

I think it's great to use a portfolio advisor when investing. Before I met with a certified portfolio advisor during the pandemic crash in March 2020, I had recently started having terrible dreams. Finally, with the help of my advisor, I was able to increase my initial investment of $400k to over $2.8 million dollars.

Yes, Sharon Ann Meny made headlines in 2020, but I'm not sure if I can bring her up in this context. She manages my portfolio and acts as a counselor for me.

Nice. People often underestimate financial advisors' importance. Over 50 years of data reveal that those who work with advisors typically earn more than those who go it alone. I've been fortunate to work with one for 13 years, resulting in a $1 million portfolio, largely from early investments in AI and other growth stocks.

As always, a great analysis. Newcomers often wonder if it's too late to navigate the financial market, but the market is always unpredictable. Trading has more advantages than simply holding, so it's important to learn before diving in. Active trades are necessary to ride the market's waves. Thanks to Flora Elkin’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings, managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 532k. Kudos to the journey ahead!

It is really refreshing to see a comment about Flora Elkin.I have worked with her also for months now, reached out after reading more about her on the internet. she simplifies matters, whether it's a market surge or drop; her approach consistently keeps you ahead of the trend, She's a guru i'll say

That’s what happens with intervention. It typically fails in the beginning making the traders think it doesn’t work. Then it just works. Traded in the Yen pit a long time. When Japan intervened that was typically the end of a long term trend. My guess is Yen reverses for years now. Just give it time.

lol despite a few attempts by Danny this episode effectively had zero guardrails on Guy. The other day too when Liz was like "idk how you come up with this stuff" lololol. That said, even when Dan is around, I wish there was more talk about what was good to long/sell/trim/add in the market. I need a show that banters about what's overpriced/underpriced. Not like hard analysis (there's plenty of written research or boring video) but what these guys and the Compound do but with more individual stock talk... across the entire SP500/Nasdaq spectrum. Carter does bring some of that with his charts but I wish they did more of it all around. And maybe with one more host that was a "the glass is half full" kind of type.
