I had the weirdest thing happen with ball lightening in 1994. My husband, daughter and I were sitting upstairs during a storm when all of a sudden this huge blue/white ball appeared. It hovered there for a few minutes then started floating downstairs to our basement, we followed it just watching and trying to figure out what it was. It floated around the downstairs for a few seconds then just floated through the back door screen and was gone. Coolest thing I have ever seen in my life and none of us have ever forgotten it. Just wish we'd had a camera. PS: Didn't realize it was ball lightening until later also it did not do any damage to anything, did not crackle or spit out electricity it was the size of a soccer ball and just floated about 5' off the ground doing its own thing.

@@EeUuRrOoPpAa Yes, it was a round, extremely bright bluish white ball, weirdest and coolest thing I have ever seen. Too bad cell phones weren't a big thing then. I actually forgot my mom saw it too until she reminded me she was there. Even our dog reacted to it with a yelp and running under the bed. Wish I could see it again, but seems like once in a lifetime kind of thing as I have never seen one since. Also on that night the lightning itself was a combination of multiple streaks across the sky with a lot of cloud to ground as well.

Many years ago, I was sitting behind my desk in my home office. I had a picture window in the front overlooking my pasture and driveway. As I sat there I saw a blue ball of light coming down my driveway. It was maybe the size of a beach ball. It was kind of wobbling as it progressed down the driveway. I couldn't believe it. It continued and came through the window into my office!! It didn't hurt me but it knocked out all of my electronics! Computers, servers, TV's, etc. It did thousands of dollars worth of damage! That's the only time I've seen one and I hope the last, too!!

I saw "ball lightning" as a kid and it hit my friends house taking out all of their electrical stuff , no electronics , household electronics were not yet a thing back then , wires and all and took out thier chiminy blowing the middle out of it as it entered their home hitting a very large and very old mirror burning a tree root pattern into the silver backing the mirror was just on the other side of the exterior wall only a few feet away from the chimney , it traveled around 250 feet in around 20 or so seconds bouncing a few inches off of the ground and like you just described it was also around the size of a beach ball and moved like a ballon filled with air along the ground , it also was a plasma blue / pink in color , unlike you I would like to see another one before I croak

Hold up. A red sky is caused because the dust particles are settling on the other hemisphere..... wait let me find a quote. I'm surprised you didn't use the default explanation of "it was just swamp gas reflecting off of Venus". I guess "it was just an unscheduled missile test over a heavily populated area malfunction" works just as good.

That fire rainbow is extremely beautiful though. I would absolutely love to see some of these in my sky. Some of them might scare the piss out of me though. I couldn't imagine getting the chance to see some of these. I mean, I'm sure some of them are photoshopped but the other ones that are real are just incredible.

The first fire rainbow pic in the video is really just another rocket contrail. I saw them a lot when I was a kid. Also, fire rainbows are what used to be called "sun dogs". Like he said, ice crystals refracting light like a prism. I have tons of photos of them I took myself.

On the Red Sky, I remember something similar to that some years ago in New England. It was a big summer storm - but it cleared up right about at sun set. The combination of the storm clouds clearing up paired with the sun actually coming through a single clearing made for an incredible sky that was red all the way from one horizon to the other. That's an easy explanation from what I see there, including distant thunder and the leftover wind.
