By posting some help, so that they can solve the riddle, she gained even more publicity, because we all know that the majority of people are quite curious. So by playing on the card of people's curiosity, not only she got more people who couldn't wait to get their hands on the book, but a pretty good book deal too. Congratulations on that one. Even more than all my colleagues together. You just need to know how to present something. When you do that on an appealing way, you will get positive results. Because, being honest, all those people could have taken a rental car and drive there, it's not like a huge country and you can get lost, and there were also many freelance excursions from other travel agencies as well. OMG the first story in the NYC apartment freaked me out for multiple reasons. First thing that shocked me was the girl looks so eerily similar to my friend, she has many of the same mannerisms, my friend even sticks her tongue out while carefully doing things like the girl did while removing the mirror. Even creepier this same friend was renting a townhouse and she returned home one day to find all the doors upstairs missing, taken right off the hinges, she also found a dead frog and even more disgusting a bloody tampon in her mailbox that week. She called her landlord and he didnt remove the doors or know anything about the mailbox. She ended up finding an opening to the attic space above the townhouse and that space was connected to the entire row of townhouses. The doors were taken by some creepy neighbor that lived 4 homes down, he had gone up into the attic space and went into her home, taking the doors off and then removing them out the front door, locking he door on his way out. She had lived their for multiple years and never knew that they were interconnected in the attic, she wondered if that was the only time someone entered her home, creepy!!!

I don't know about you guys, but if I discovered some secret unused space behind my bathroom wall that hadn't been touched in years, I would NEVER tell my landlord. I'd run to the closest building supply company and get everything I needed to permanently close that space off from the hallway so no one could tell it ever existed. Then I'd tear down the walls separating the two apartments so I could begin creating my new, top secret secret hideout. 😁 I've always wanted a hidden room behind a bookcase. The apartments with the hole between them was probably due to renovations being done poorly. They probably removed an in wall type medicine cabinet from both bathrooms and rather than patch the hole through the wall They just covered it with a mirror. Probably so they could rent one of the two apartments. It's possible they ran out of funds for renovations, notice how the second apartment is mid renovations? I could see it being creepy if it was a two way mirror, but I'd expect that to have been mentioned if that was the case.
@ulyssescpt2 жыл бұрын

@elementalist19842 жыл бұрын
@@Autisticgyal the original poster of that video was probably trolling for views or reddit karma and half the story is a lie. By which I mean the land lord told her the apartment renovation had been halted due to lack of funds and her apartment had been rushed because it was mostly done. That's why the hole was "suddenly fixed". Like I said I could see it being creepy or weird if it had been a two way mirror, and they would have noticed that and pointed it out in the video if that was the case. Hell for all we know she changed out her own medicine cabinet, bumped the back of the other medicine cabinet and it fell off/out of the wall. Then, that's when she noticed that she could see through to the unfinished apartment nextdoor. Maybe I'm just cynical from seeing too many of these types of videos and most of the things they show are either not creepy or seem staged.

15:56 NOPE, DIDNT WORK FOR ME, WHY??? (ALSO, PUTTING ON THE HANGER MADE A PAIN IN MY HEAD'S SIDE FOR A DAMN DAY)
@ModestFrog2 жыл бұрын
I tried the hanger challenge, at first I didn't feel like anything and nothing happened. Then I experimented. If the scientists in the experiment/test said it was pressure that made your head want to turn, did I maybe just have the hanger on too symmetrically? It was fairly tight so it wasn't that there was no pressure, but if the pressure was too even then that might explain why I didn't feel anything... I twisted it a lil bit to the side and instantly my head wanted to turn to that side. It wasn't that I couldn't resist but there was pressure I had to ignore. Messing around I twisted the hanger a bit to the other side and the pressure moved as well as the way my head wanted to turn. It was pretty fun, like when you were a kid at school and someone showed you the 'trick' where they stood against a door frame and pushed their arm in that direction, when they step away and relax the arm automatically wants to rise.
@IronHorse17222 жыл бұрын
I tried it too, just for gits and shiggles. Nothing. I used a plastic one first, and it just hurt. I do have a slightly biggly head. So I swapped over for a metal one, and switched the pressure side over. Still nothing. I did it in front of the mirror... but then I felt a draught. Turns out I was hiding Narnia behind there. Narnia business. Lol. And it was just a draught beer after all. Felt it sliding down me throat, and warming the cockles of me heart. Bless that golden draught.
@alexia35522 жыл бұрын
I wonder if it has to do with proprioceptive signals the brain uses to determine how it should keep the head balanced. Our head does stay upright and facing forward quite well without much conscious thought, and somehow the brain has to decide what information to base those unconscious choices on

For the Tesla graveyard thing, i can totally agree with that explanation, however there are some flaws. As someone who frequently rides in a Tesla, the human detecting thing is very inconsistent, sometimes not even detecting nearby and obvious humans, so I highly doubt it would detect a gravestone as a human would be very rare. Also, in some footage, you can see the supposedly headstone moving, which is not possible. Another thing is that when Teslas drive on normal roads, they don't detect small statues, small signs, or anything human-sized, except most humans, so would they have no trouble detecting headstones as humans? Lastly, in some footage not in this video, the "headstones" are basically right next or ON the road, which is very unusual. It's a good explanation, however there are things about this issue that aren't fully explained.

Kalu was a hardworking gardener of the royal garden. He was saving money for his old age and kept his savings in a secret hidden place. Kalu went crying to Birbal one morning and told him that all his savings, which were around a thousand gold coins, had been stolen. He further told him that he kept his money by digging a hole under the pear tree in the royal garden as he used to work in the royal garden the whole day, so it was easy for him to watch over the money. Birbal assured him that he will solve the case. Then Birbal thought if anyone had dug up under the tree, only then one could know about the gold coins. Birbal and KaluBirbal summoned all the Vaidyas and Hakims (ancient time doctors) and asked them if any part of the pear tree works as medicine. Most of them refused but one of them told him that the fruit of the pear is good for health but flowers and leaves are not helpful. Then an experienced Vaidya told Birbal that recently he made a paste of some herbs and mixed it with the paste made of the roots of a pear tree. That I gave to a patient of mine, named Seth Hazarimal who was suffering from jaundice. Seth was asked to come and Birbal enquired about him and he agreed that he was cured by eating the paste of herbs and roots of a pear tree. He told him that his servant brought the root of the tree for him. Seth Hazarimal’s servant was summoned. He was found guilty because of his suspicious behaviour and he admitted that he had stolen the gold coins. Thus, Birbal found the thief who had stolen the gold coin and told Kalu not to hide his money in such an unsafe place.

I have no idea if you might care about this, but here we go! My dad recently fixed a camera inside the elevator in our apartment for a case about someone spitting inside the elevator (yes, that happens here in India), but at 12:00 am on the camera footage the elevator would RANDOMLY just open out of nowhere and close like nothing ever happened.. I'm scared..

That "dig a hole" tutorial from Brendan feels like a tribute to alantutorial. Also it's metafiction, not an ARG. ARGs are a type of metafiction, but they involve actual puzzles and interaction. He wasn't responding to messages or anything, just presenting this story of someone who seems to be trapped in some kind of abandoned building alternate dimension.

They get very tacky everywhere. Look at any main intersection in about any town. You'll see the ruts where trucks and cars alike sit at traffic lights. Each lane will have like slight 12" wide low spots. On the hottest of summer days, when everyone is too busy staying cool to notice, the pavement is actually much softer than one thinks. Much has to do with the rock/sediment content of the asphalt. Many times batches aren't mixed the same consistency.

In my opinion, I think the hanger challenge is probably something that doesn’t work for everyone, as some people in the video seemed to turn their head very quickly, and for me it was extremely easy to resist. I did have to wait for it to get tight enough for a minute, but that’s the only way it worked for me. I also had to go into almost a meditation state, so I wouldn’t try to resist it, or try to move my head , and the only time I felt like it worked perfectly was when my head was 3/4 turned to the side. I wouldn’t be surprised if it only worked for some people, as there are SOOOOOO many differences in people, and some people may not turn there head, if you think about, some people can roll there eyes back, some have double joints, some are missing parts of there body, or have extra parts of there body, some can’t eat certain foods, and some don’t have certain things, or have more things then most people have. This is just my opinion, but I do think it’s probably something that works for some people, and not others. (Just remember that even if it doesn’t work for you, you have so many other unique things about you, I struggle with some injuries and disorders that make my brain work, think, and react different, so I know even though it’s simple, it can seem like something your missing out on, but just remember that you can do so many things that are unique to you, and you are very special in your very own way!)

I am not a fan of TikTok. One thing however the Internet and platforms within it can do is help people to not feel alone, afraid or isolated. Years ago the lady with the uneven boobs would struggled to find answers, let alone others. Films, media and the Internet itself have projected the 'perfect body' image but everyone is Different. Awareness of that and other medical issues or just fascinating genetics has greatly increased. This was a fascinating video 😊💖

I explored an abandoned hospital with my friend once. It was a dark building that was mostly run down and falling apart. At the very top floor there was grafiti that read "we are the hospital bums and we will kill you". After taking a few pics and hanging out for about an hour we saw that there were cop cars approaching the building, one or two at first so we didnt think anything of it. Then every car surrounding the building turned their lights on at the same time and all of a sudden there were dozens. We thought the cops were there for us so we ran all the way down and tried to escape without being caught. We ended up in the middle of a shootout between the swat team and the hospital bums and saw one of the bums get shot down. We ran towards the back exit and got caught by the swat team who threw us on the ground and pointed assault rifles at us. They figured that we were just harmless kids and ended up letting us go. A couple of years later we walk by the hospital and we see a strange shadowy figure standing on the top floor of the hospital barely visible. Without explanation we were both paralyzed with an overwhelming sense of fear and tears began pouring down both of our faces. We cant take our eyes off the figure and then my phone starts glitching and playing a song on its own. The song was called "silhouette". I think what we had seen was the ghost of the man that got killed last time we were there. A few days later the hospital was demolished maybe for the best.

I saw that 1st video on TikTok months ago. Even though it may have seemed a little creepy for the tenant all it was was an adjoining apartment that was empty and being renovated. Everyone I've seen publish this story had made it sound like there was some "secret room" in her apartment. It just happened to have a hole in the wall. If you go to an apartment complex or building and take a saw and cut a wall in one apartment into the one next to it that's not a "secret room". That whole story/video was blown out of proportion for absolutely nothing.

@lacylaizure654011 ай бұрын
Haha, true. I was thinking it was a little weird the hole was left open, because you can apply drywall 1 side and still access electrical for the other side. Then I really thought about it and decided, it makes the most sense that it was due to laziness. I bet it was cut out for some reason, or a recessed cabinet was removed, and someone who fancies themselves a contractor just hid it behind the mirror instead of patching & painting the drywall.
