i kept seeing weird shapes when i first started having some insomnia, i would lay in bed and my mind would just start seeing shapes. i still have insomnia, but now i have dreams of shadow people at my mothers house where she beat me. usually they sit on my bed in my old room or they stand at my door behind me and i cant turn my head so i have to back up until i pass through them. i have the dreams every night and i believe they started around a year ago, this is five years after i managed to leave her. the dreams usually end in the shadow man screaming at me and then poof, its over.

Those are phosphenes. Its colors that you see when you rub your eyes (the pressure tricks the retinal cells into seeing color) this was kind of like that but I didn’t rub my eyes or anything

If you start rubbing your eyes alot you will start seeing an oval like shape with a hole in the middle, sometimes the hole is wider or smaller, which is why i think it has something to do with our pupils

Let me bring religion here because I actually got a similar one during a confession: I was praying with my eyes closed and I saw in a vast darkness a white triangle emitting two auras, the triangle itself was pretty bright, the second aura was easy to see and the third one was the hardest one to see. This simply couldnt be a coincidence because in the church every light was circular and golden.
