I actually heard that some time ago - I think in January or February. We played for a while as reapers, decided to sell our loot. So my friends are selling it and I went for a walk to look for any chests on the shore. Found a crate and went looking for another one with it, when I started hearing this music. I thought I just missed it some other update, or it was there from the beginning. Asked a Friend about it, and they said - What music are you talking about? There is not a sound. It's good to know, that it was not my imagination, but a new possible feature! Thank you, Captain!

Yeah, maybe some sort of hidden Reaper NPC on one of the islands in the Wilds (maybe add something good to Old Faithful Isle to make it worth the trouble) or just completely transform one of the islands. Its kinda annoying to have to haul loot all the way to the hideout whenever I want to sell. I know it doesn't make a lot of sense lore-wise (they'd have to make another Reaper's Lair too) but it makes sense for convenience.

it wouldnt be a hideout anymore and would be suspicious. Maybe if they rose in power, then it would make sense. Otherwise, they would be dumb if they made stronghold without holding that much of a power. Also, they are sneaky basterds, so hideouts are their type.

It just occurred to me: the reapers might take over Sea Dogs. When your on the rock your looking directly at Sea Dogs. And what better place for the throne of flame heart than on one of the largest islands in the entire game?

Maybe the Reaper's Hideout is becoming the Reaper's Stronghold... The Fort of the Flame? The Flame's Fortress? Whatever the name of it is, I hope it becomes large enough to rival Port Merrick as an outpost. Maybe something like Morrow's Peak in that you can't spawn there, but have Reaper NPCs to buy ship supplies from? Also I never understood why Outpost residents couldn't just take down the Reaper tables if they're unwanted at Outposts like how the wiki says they are. Like in Port Merrick, a town that was completely rebuilt and couldve been destroyed by the Reapers, they simply moved the Reaper's table into the sewers rather than removing it. It makes sense for gameplay but its kinda confusing for the story imo

The canonical explanation about the reapers tables is that they’re hidden from the view of the people who live there, and they don’t know they exist. Of course, they’re really obvious because it wouldn’t make sense to make the player run across the island and down into a hidden room just to raise or lower their flag.

Hey, another thing to add, since I also heard this music with some friends while we were selling and just fooling around on reapers, for a split second while walking around on the island, I saw an interact prompt (Wasnt a journal or anything I'm fairly certain) for a key. I seemed like the vault key that you get for those Gold Hoarder voyages, since I saw the text hovering like you could briefly ineract with something, but because I was moving, I looked away, and when I turned back, it was gone. I could be wrong, since it might not be a ket, but I'm nearly certain there's something interactable there. It seemed to be under / nearby the rock where the music plays, so I just wanted to see if it ties in here. Anyways, great vid :)

I read that and immediately thought of combining multiple boss designs into one: a skeleton man-o-war (maybe with multiple cursed cannonball types available?) that has a slowness area like the Kraken and can dive and resurface like a megalodon in addition to having the speed of a skelly galleon on the water (so it can basically do instant hit-and-run attacks with multiple cursed cannonballs and with very few ways to escape once you enter the fight)

i was at reapers a couple months ago with a friend, just messing around. he doesn't pay attention to the story and lore of the game, so i told him about Merrick's drum since it was by the tent. i, for whatever reason, stared at it through my spyglass, and im sure i heard another interesting piece of music. i kept hearing this when looking at the drum again and again, but was unsure what it could mean, other to reference the temple from which it came from, perhaps the entrance to the temple is behind this locked door? a way of the reapers protecting the only cure for their 'perfection'.

i'll admit as much as i dislike the reapers (from a moral standpoint) I do think they deserve a better island, cuz currently the reapers island make them look more creepy and dreary when they're more intimidating and dreadful to be near so having them get their own kinda port town would help convey that. and lets be honest having some sort of flaming fortress would be badass

what if they had some cool evemt were anyone could bring supplies to reapers for the construction (planks, food, cannonballs) and maybe there could be cosmetics for people who deliver enough. It would give a great use for supplies since most of the time at the end of a session i find myself with hundreds and hundreds of random supplies that i didnt need (and yes i know this is similar to the saving golden sands thing but this time there would be no choice or anything lile that it would just be a limited time event
