description says it all. We've never heard these sounds before and were completely mystified as to what it was. Any ideas? let us know.

This is perfectly normal! And very common! Ice cracking makes these sounds as it cracks, even throwing a rock on the ice will have this effect, and will also have a lag in time after throwing it. Every winter we here in on our lake and we would throw rocks out on it just to here the Erie sounds. No aliens, but all 100% natural

Johnathan Saunders is right, ice makes this sound. I love laying on the frozen lakes in winter, and listen to the ice sing.

Some thoughts: The freaky noise you're hearing is ice cracking, amplified by by the surface area Used to hear it every winter when I was a kid playing hockey or just being out on the frozen lake with my friends. The helicopter seems to be a Blackhawk, and like virtually all military helos, is black. They are common and no, it wasn't related to cracking ice, sorry. BUT... the noise at :40 seconds sounded a little Squatchy if you ask me. :-)

EXACTLY what I was thinking. I was ready to dismiss the whole video other than that one sound.

Something is out there that's for sure if the helicopters showed up right after it happened.

Hahahaha these noises are completely common! Nothing out of the ordinary here. Cracks makes these sound. You can even through a rock out there and the echo sound will have a lag time of about 1 minute. Very very common. Me and my brothers would make these noises on our lake when we were little

Aliens? No. Kids throwing rocks onto the ice because it makes an awesome sound? Probably. We used to get in trouble for chucking massive rocks onto the lake near my house growing up because it pissed off local snowmobilers, but it makes this exact same noise.

That sounds kinda like high tension wires reverberating. When the guitar player in my band drops his Fender Twin Reverb amp, it makes a sound similar to thunder. If it is the ice, I wouldn't want to be standing on it if I heard those noises.

Ice cracks over a long distance, as well as people throwing heavy rocks on the ice at another unseen part of the lake can cause the noise(extremely strange noise) but not unheard previously on other bodies of water.

It's the ice forming, if it was cold that day

Sounds really cool but I bet some normal boring ordinary thing is behind it.

"completely unedited". Yes, unedited, but I can hear some music EDITED onto the video somehow. That doesn't matter, right? I'm not saying the strange sounds were not real, but claiming something and then anyone can hear the proof of the opposite that was claimed, it takes a lot of credibility away.
@artsyvideo Жыл бұрын
yeah, I added music, just like I added titles, and footage cuts, and Bernie on the lake. but the original audio where you hear the lake sounds is completely unedited, and I purposely did not overlay any music over the part where you hear the lake sounds.

That is not ice cracking! That is an awesome sound tho wonder what it is

It 100% is ice cracking, or something throwing something onto the this ice.

If unmarked MILITARY helicopters are coming to an area where sounds like these are happening...THEY KNOW SOMETHING...AND ITS NOT HUMAN MADE...IN THE SKYS...TO THE OCEAN FLOOR..THEY ARE MAKING THESE SOUNDS..BUT THE QUESTION IS....WHY
@johnathansaunders88163 жыл бұрын
These are natural sounds. Anybody who spends time on a lake in winter will here these. Every single lake! It's not a rare phenomen. Very common! You've never spent time by a frozen lake I'm guessing?
@JH-bf7be3 жыл бұрын
Obviously whatever it is wanted you to leave the area. I would have been gone long before I heard that really loud one lol 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♀️
