To all the naysayers. This is all marketing. He’s trying to get the revamped website up and entice people by showing them amazing backcountry campsites he’s found and he ends each video with “This is how you too can get here”. It’s pretty genius, actually. You can tell Chris has had his fix of remote, solo travel over the years and, dare I say it, is now entering his retirement years (settling down, doing trips closer to home, taking it easy with an aging orangie, if he even takes the Jeep at all). It’s just the natural progression of life. He’s still trying to figure out where he goes from here. How does he keep this channel going while changing his lifestyle. And he’s been kind enough to take us along for the ride for so long. I have nothing but respect and admiration for you Mr. Shontz!

Sorry for the all negativity in these posts. Looking back at these amazing adventures is welcome. You have mentioned that Orangie is need of some TLC. I'm waiting with anticipation on when everything is up an running. May you have a wonderful holiday season in the meantime.
