A little story. My elderly neighbour who I loved very much passed away a short while ago. I hung the metal watering can over my fence that she gave me. On the day of her death a robin started building a nest in it. On the day of her funeral the chicks hatched. The wheel of life turns ❣️

Blessings to you, Colette. I feel this life force comes with living in sync/rythm with Nature? There is energy and also, at least when I 'm working with my hands in the garden, literally connected with Our Mother Earth, I feel an understanding, a focussing on what is really important. Like I see my way clear again. Sounds a bit grand, but that's just that I find it hard to translate ...

Bealtaine looks ever so elegant and happy. Thank you for sharing. The woodlands, birdsong, blossoms and greenery are good and beautiful 🌟 The waters at Bealtaine sound so lovely. The sunlight sparkling on top is like a wink from the Goddess💕 The wild primrose and violets are so sweet. (I have a calico cat named Violet) 😽 This video was so perfect and special. I do feel the rise and need for the burn to release the positive into the air. How exciting and what a special time! Blessings and Happiness, Kathleen

Sunny nice weather with you, that is lovely, especially at the springtime after a long winter :-) Well, I have been wondering about what bealtine meens and you have now explained it :-) that grey gravel is so nice to look at in your driveway. I also use grey singel we call it as pathways in my garden and at the parkinglot etc. A beck/bruck/stream is so nice, I envy you that one. :-) I have digged me a pond and my a fall though. Have you thought of a sign for your gate? what about: Garden is only open with appointment!! That is simpel and not offending :-)

Bealtaine Cottage has always been a comfort to me, more needed today than ever.I feel forced to move from my rented rural cottage, the garden I created from weeds which was praised by my landlords two years ago, is now to be totally cut down, as they cite wanting to paint (not holding my breath), fire risk(I purposely chose the least flammable plants ) and vermin.I can't stay here if my garden is destroyed, dug up and thrown away.As a horticulturist each plant is so precious, I am broken hearted. I will pot up what I can but I have nowhere to go,and the logistics are overwhelming. Yet, I believe in miracles and trust that all will be well. The peace, beauty and other worldliness of Bealtaine Cottage sustains me in this time. So grateful to you, Colette.Blessings from Kaye, Australia. 💜

I’m so sorry to hear what your landlords are asking you to do. When one door closes another opens is something I’ve seen over and over again. Make a list of everything you need from your next abode. Wishing you wonderful good fortune moving forward!

Sidilicious Thank you for the reminder, in the middle of a crisis I easily forget the simple things, like what you have suggested. I will think on that as I go to sleep tonight, maybe I will dream of my new home. I want to be in Ireland ultimately but covid and a land dispute has put that on hold. Which is why Bealtaine Cottage is so precious, it keeps my absolute dream home alive.

Wowza! Thank you for sharing such a gorgeous video. I’ve been curious, have any saplings come up on either of your neighbors’ land, or perhaps the old abandoned field behind your property? I feel as if your land is a great life bomb due to burst any moment full of color. I’ve been inspired by you to get my own land and regenerate it. It would be a great adventure and quite a different journey as I’m in the desert southwest of the U.S. ~Martin

The birdsongs. Truly beautiful. But then, it came to me that I wanted to hear the smallest, maybe the farthest sound sung by nature. Yes, I caught some strange sounds in the distance. Not sure what those were or what made those sounds. Probably birds, probably other small animals, probably the winds, or probably something else entirely. Have you ever wondered? Have a nice weekend. p.s. Would you pat Jack gently for me? Always the loyal guard.

We do not celebrate Bealtaine in my part of the world it is not our heritage but we celebrate spring in the evening of 30 of April with a big bonfire and special songs about the end of winter and the coming of spring and so on. On the 1 of May many eat special food and have a special breakfast with wine and so on. What we celebrate is the remnants of a Catholic celebration (the country Lutheran for 500 years and now very, very, very secular in every aspect of that word) of the saint S Walpurgis. But I believe it must be even older traditions somewhere in it. For of course did our ancestors celebrate spring back in the old times. Back when most people believed in what I think is called Old Norse religion in English. Especially in a cold country like ours. I just found your videos and I really like them. And I too can feel something in the air, in the earth and in the water this time of year. Something light and new and old and lifegiving.
