oh my god, I'm obsessed with Stranger Things and have watched all reactors watching it but no one has ever made the connection between the mind flayer and The Police song as in it's watching them, I didn't either! Wondering if that was the intention of the Duffers or a fluke lol!

A lot of people mistakenly interpret it as a love song, but as Sting himself has explained it's actually a song about an obsessed stalker. I'm pretty certain the Duffers knew the true context behind the song.

Bring on Season 3... which in my subjective opinion is the weakest season thus far, but objectively is still a great season of television, so I'm sure you'll both have a lot of fun with it.
