Could be also that he likes giving people a week to live. Afterall he uses the clock heavily to symbolize they are running out of time. Vecna simply amped up his game because he realized they are already at his home base and he has no time to lose.

Well this is what I think el was able to open the first upside down gate and then in the second season she closed the big gate so who's to say that vecna can't reach from the upside down on top of reaching inside of peoples heads but I'm not gonna lie if you watched legend of Korra when el was suspended and was about to die why that looked like when AANG faced yakone and got blood bended and almost died there

Also maybe it just shows she’s still REALLY dealing with the guilt she feels. So strong even to current day, that it made it easier for him. I mean we’re shown that he feeds of peoples guilt.

Remember the gate at the lab at the end of season 3 where we thought Hopper died , I’m wondering if that’s how the Russians got that demigordin (I might’ve spelled it wrong but y’all what I’m trying to say lol) and Hopper back to Russia and is there still a gate in the lab that could possibly get Joyce, Murray, and Hopper back to Hawkins? 🤷🏾‍♀️All I know is July can’t come fast enough.

I watched this shit when it dropped and watched like 8 or 9 different reactions of the show. Some of the good ones that came out was good first time but kinda fell apart after repeat viewings. This season has held up! That is how you write a show. Whatever money the Duffer Brothers got; was worth it.

Orderly - 001 - Vecna was what I got, him being Henry Creel was a surprise to me. That makes me believe Dustin's theory isn't 100 percent accurate for once, when it comes to Vecna working under the Mindflayer, 001 would never work for someone, he's the Big Bad to me, the whole thing started with 001 and 011, it would only make sense to close the circle that the final final fight is still 001 vs 011. Eps 9 is supposed to be crazy, 2.5 hrs, 1 hr is a straight intense fight sequence, and that eps alone the Duffers said has way more cgi/money then the entirety of s3, AND we're finally going to lose some main cast characters. S4 seems it's going to end bad bad, and I am not prepared lol.

I think he looks up to the mindflayer, it does look like a giant spider too so that could be his connection to it. Also the mind flayer per dustin in season 2 or 3 is a world conquerer. So vecna might be up for wiping the human pests out.

@@baradinforge3324 i guess it'd depend on how much his thinking changed after being sent into the upside, since prior to that, during his monolog he sees himself, as he said, a predator for good, like spiders, weeding out the weak and frail and guilty, while Mind Flayer wants total dominion and destruction. Only 11 days left till we find out how exactly mind flayer, vecna and the upside down connect though! (Also, need more upside down answers, when did it become hawkins exactly, after 001 entered, and wills entrance "froze" time, or did Wills presence actually change it, which is why its mirrored forever only on that exact day)

@@lucylucian2564 eh, Mindflayer looks nothing like a spider to me in any way, so I personally don't understand that connection (the amount of limbs he has keeps changing outside of that main support leg/tail thing) also don't know why he wouldn't/didnt use Vecna, especially after s2 when he saw her during the gate closing bit, since MF doesn't 'work with' but takes control and commands, so he would have been able to see the connection through his own memories, wills memories, Billy's and Henry, and act. Also Mindflayers goal is take over, merge and destroy the two worlds, while 001 wants to be a God (for Good lul) and weed out the weak and bad and guilty, do there would be balance. Their goals/wants don't match up, besides the personal vendetta against 011. The new trailer it appears that the Russians may have somehow actually captured the MF? Would explain why Vecna started acting now, if MF is not in the Upside Down and in control. 001 is a REALLY big trump card to have not already been in use by MF if he was working with them, since he's been in the Upside Down since before even the initial Mother Gate was open. I mean I could definitely be absolutely wrong lol, there are just contradictions and things that don't match up or make sense or just makes me ask more questions, hopefully we'll get alot/most of the answers in these last 2 episodes, but 001 and 011 have a history that is tied very very closely with each other, especially since he is the Original, it would be very disappointing if he's taken out so early or anything else.

Man, Murray has been the MVP this season. I'm so glad that this season he's gotten so much more screen time. He really deserves it. Vecna might not have fully transformed his abilities yet or hadn't been incorporated into the hive mind yet so he wouldn't have been aware of everything happening. Plus, could be that One wasn't able to cross dimensions with his mind yet until, season 3 when El was bitten. Could explain why her powers were drained, where did they go?

My take so far is Henry is a serial killer with powers. I'm not sure if his powers are thru the devil since when 011 pushed him out he slid into a very Christian help scape, not the upside down dark cold place or he was just born with abilities or his mother cursed him.

Can’t forget that Hopper did mention that when men came back from the war, that it had a negative effect on any children that were born (if they were born at all). Victor Creel had served in WW1 so it could’ve gave Henry some ability instead of being a stillborn or any other disability, but on top of that, made him a “bad seed” aka a serial killer.

With this reveal suddenly the whole series starts to make complete sense. From the BEGINNING it’s been about the beef between 001 and 011. The whole series has been about him trying to get out of the Upside Down and get at her.

vecna has had a hard on for elle as long as this show’s been on. that blood the mindflayer took from her last season allows vecna to day-walk and kill every damn body at all times of the day and night. hawkins now, the world later. so, it’s got nancy now bc nancy feels responsible for barb’s death. doesn’t elle feel responsible for things that have happened out of her control in hawkins? what’s gonna happen to elle if she gets back to hawkins with vecna waiting for her? vecna might be taking brenner back with him to the upside down; he hates him worse than elle bc brenner created all the other kids from him, then prevented him from using the powers they robbed from him with that implant. not to mention the torture. vecna with his god complex felt justified in killing the kids/eliminating all of brenner’s work. elle is a part of vecna, hopper in russia fighting a feral person-fed demogorgon… i don’t know how this will work out. i’m scared for everybody! creel wasn’t that old when he got banished. elle was born about 1970. what, was she like 10 in S1? so dude was that same age in 1955, making him like 35 when elle sent him to the upside down.

I think the key thing Vecna needs to get a foothold in someone’s mind is shame. That puts a lot of people at risk, but not Brenner because Brenner feels no guilt or shame. I think we’re going to learn a lot about how Henry has powers, how Brenner knew about it, and how Henry’s mother knew to contact Brenner. What did she know and why did Henry say she had done terrible things? He really had a particular bone to pick with his mom.
