Stranger Things Pinball UV Kit Installation and Projector Adjustment

Thanks for making this Zach I was curious to see what all was involved with the kit. For all the people complaining about how much stern charges for the kit, I wanted to see what was all involved with it. There’s quite a bit to this kit, not just some cheesy string of lights. I like how the lights on the side are incorporated directly into the metal. I always buy pros or a premium if it wows me. So I don’t mind spending a little bit more to get this kit. Great content, Zach. Being "conversational" in a video like this is not easy -- kudos. I've been following SDTM for a couple years now, bought my WONKA and DEADPOOL (LE & Prem) based on yours and Greg's rec's (at least I *think* they were rec's!) Being a dealer clearly suits you (living the dream, right?) Hope you weather the Corona storm.

Makes me want to get this game! Awesome video Zach! I have a feeling I will need to go back and watch it again as a tutorial in the future. Thanks for posting the video. This was a bit of a pain to install, but not too terrible and looks amazing. Thank you for showing how to adjust projector, I don't think Stern included any instructions about that. Wish there was a better way to adjust the position of the image. The image is just a hair low on drop targets, but not a show stopper. Our family loves this game, loves it!

Mancave Movie Madness fixing the position of the images on every target is even easier. Go to adjustments once settings and each can be digitally tuned in based on position. You’ll be glad you did

You could almost do another video on how to adjust the projector image positioning, for people like us that didn't take the time to figure it out on their own. i love this kit and the effect it provides. i am a huge fan of UV lights in pinball. However I am with the others when it comes to inclusion... at least for the LE line. Even if it wasnt ready at time of shipment/release, shame on stern for making LE buyers purchase the kit. But as much as I complain, I am still happy with most of my stern purchases. Thanks for the video zach, im sure this will put many minds at ease when purchasing the kit.

I installed my kit on my LE, but did not install the plastics as they looked exactly the same. So I guess I need to replace the plastics to see different art with the UV? I even ran a UV light over the new plastics and could not see a difference. Thoughts?

I would have gotten the pinstadium uv reveal kit for stranger things as it doesnt shine the lights in your eyes and projector screen

Is it worth getting the premium version compared to the pro version. I'm getting the premium version and it's on its way but in having second thoughts because it was 8k after taxes and shipping. Just wondering.

The UV effect looks great and adds to the game but still not happy with Stern releasing it after the game came out doing day one DLC. At least give LE owners the kit for free

Honestly, on the fence - do you have any experience with the "brand X" UV mod? The Stern one does look nice but I worry about things getting hit and broken in pins. I wonder if the side UV lights will create an issue. Thanks for the video!

Tons of plays since this video and now issues or breaking. They are constructed inside thick metal so I think they are good

What a rip off from Stern!!! They purposely did this as a way to screw they're customers. That's why the playfield was dimpled underneath!The Premiums and LE's should've came with this already. The Pro model maybe. This is how Stern continues to rape people!!! I've heard rumors that Stern is going to start DLC for they're pinball machines that will cost more money. Pinstadium makes a UV light that is way better than Stern's ripoff!!! Screw Stern!!!!! I'm never buying another one!!!!!!
