I'm so happy they brought Stranger Things back. My husband and I started playing one month after they got removed and I was so sad. Getting used to the perk names switching back is going to take some time, and the map is going to take a bit of getting used to. But I always thought demo would be fun to play.

BRO!? Hawkins is back!? I know I had a love hate relationship with that funky indoor map with all the weird corridors and the weird stairs, and on some killers I was truly miserable, but it was a true case of “Don’t know you what you got till it’s gone.” I’ve missed the funny drop attacks from the top floor, chasing around corridors, and the mind games on the catwalks. Welcome back, old friend.

I am very conflicted about it's return. I started playing in 2021 and Hawkins was the first map I faced a "high MMR swf" and got destroyed, and that game haunts me whenever I start playing poorly. And now the map that almost caused me to quit this game has returned. However, after that game I got massively into hag up until Hawkins was removed. Playing her again there feels like I've gone back in time to when hag was insane.

@@cathemeraltheenby6840 Hawkins against a SWF is honestly not that bad. The biggest issue with Hawkins is people who walk and crouch everywhere the moment they hear your heartbeat. However, I think people gotta realize that a lot of perks have been reworked since then. It's quite a small map, and range based perks have been buffed. Coulrophobia used to only slow down healing, not speed up the skill check meter. Claustrophobia/Cruel Limits used to only block windows within a few meters of a finished gen, not the entire map. Heck, Blood Favor worked extremely different when Hawkins was still in play. People always complained about Hawkins, but that was mostly because 60% of players either mained Huntress or Billy. I think the only killer having issues on this map after all the changes, other than Billy or Huntress, will be Wesker. Every other killer will pretty much have a field day.

@@Predated2I agree. Hawkins was a love-hate map for me too because while it can be really fun ... there's nowhere safe to go. It's 90% unsafe pallets, and a few really cool areas. I'm shitty at looping the killer, so Hawkins is usually a death sentence for me as a survivor. With the options killers have nowadays, I think it's going to be a very tough map for survivors.

Hawkins coming back is probably one of my FAVORITE things the developers have done this year! It's such a blast from the past and it feels *so great* to re-experience again following all of the new changes that have taken place since it was first removed.

It... Is a very very dangerous map to have an Artist in... I main her with Weaker and owned the map. The only problem are the two upper level gens... but fire from the stairs and not that bad of one

It's honestly a little sad because of how well they worked as common perks, now if new players from here on out want to have a gen regression or anti-exhaustion perk, they'll need to either spend like 30 hours grinding for one of the original characters with them, or crack open their wallet for a licensed one.

I think they should leave the perks as base perks, return the old names a descriptions, but them being added to the base perk pool was a massive boon for the health if the base version of the game, making it much better for non-paying players to start out. They really need to start making more base game perks. Or like, make one of the three perks we get with each charachter a base perk.

As someone who never watched Stranger Things I thought Scoops Ahoy was an in-universe cereal brand but then the Walmart I work at got the ice cream in and I was "Oh, that makes sense.". I've been lamenting for ages now that I didn't get any of the demo skins way back when, but at least I had demo... And now I can't decide which skin to get first! I'm just so glad Hawkins is back. I always loved the ambiance of the map. I hadn't watched stranger things when the map was out before but since then I've seen the series and it makes the map so much more enjoyable with all the little context references and stuff from the show. So glad it's all back, even if I have to remember different perk names again... But also that hopefully means they'll make the adepts available again so I can finally adept demo!!

I still believe the Demogorgon portals should have been what the Alien Portal is. Or better yet you literally go to an upside down version of the map (which is empty) and of course you cannot see the survivors or generators but you can place portals in the upside down. I don't know if they fixed the animation of it coming out of the portal but that was a real bummer. If I had to choose what to buy today despite my love for Stranger Things I would still buy the Alien chapter instead because he is just a better Demogorgon

I updated the game after getting home from work, and prepared to log in to do some still-not-done dailies. I was mid-yawn when I hit the button that took me to the cinematic. When I saw the Stranger Things cinematic start up, I squealed like a child. I started playing right when this chapter was removed, got the game using the Stranger Things bundle that was hilariously less than the base game by itself (on Steam). Messed around with Demo every so often, liked his playful but I was still learning. But then when they introduced the Prestige system I just stopped messing with him, focusing my blood points on other killers to learn their skills. Oh, that will sooo be changing once Demo properly joins the Prestige system!

As someone who owned Stranger Things before it left, I'm glad its back. Demo is a killer that's easy to pick up and helps newer players get used to more complex powers, and has perks that are easy to slot into almost any build on any killer, and is (in my opinion) the most balanced killer so far. While all the survivor perks are also generally easy for newer players to pick up and use with little-to-no issue. Welcome back from the void, Steve, Demo and Nancy (and also Hawkins).

Demo was the second killer I ever played and the first killer I got to lvl 40. It's a very seal friendly killer.

i want an Iri addon where portals are already placed around gens all around the map Survs cannot cleanse them Demo cannot move them elsewhere Portals spawn arounds the gens this iri addons mimics other killers power like sadako and Alien. I'm sure it will find some nice uses and gives him a better map control
