This is one of my favorite episodes of the show. Steve really stepped up and put his life on the line for Dustin, Lucas, & Max. Will is really creepy when he's speaking as the Mind Flayer and now everyone in the lab is in danger. Great reaction!

A big thanks to all the health care workers who are on the front lines putting themselves directly at risk. But also thanks to everyone in the the food industry, from farmers, to food processing and manufacturing, to shipping and the people in sales who barely get minimum wage but are keeping shelves stocked. Also, thanks to the people in the background-- everyone in water, sewage, gas and power, to everyone working IT and internet. Quarantine and remote work/school wouldn't work if the infrastructure did not work. And to Lacey and Steve (Steve & Lacey), thanks also for continuing to put out your videos. I am home and sick with covid-like symptoms in self-quarantine, and your awesome reactions and positive energy are very welcome distractions. Thanks for all the work you put in. Stay healthy, and keep putting smiles on all of our faces. This was a great episode, by the way. Unlike last season, it seems that the lead scientist is actually a good guy. Remember earlier in the season you weren't sure you could trust him. And now Max knows that all this stuff is real-- she's become a true member of the party-- and Bob looks like he's really becoming part of the family, even if they're not a "normal family." Also, the Steve-Dustin combination is pretty awesome. Too bad that it looks like they're all about to die.

Maybe you should ask "how many slugs did Will vomit up?" If you watch the scene where he coughs up the slug, it struck me the first time I watched it that he did not seem to surprised to vomit up a slug --it was more like " dang, another one!"

'Three of them'... This is just a theory. We know that Dart or a Dart like creature was coughed up by Will. In the finale of Season 1 Hopper also sees a slug come out of Barbara's mouth in the Demagorgan's 'nest' (in the town's library in the Upside Down - both Hopper in S1 and Dustin in S2 use the library to 'acquire more knowledge '). We know that more people went missing in Hawkins. So would it be fair to say that the Demagorgan uses human bodies in the Upside Down to incubate more Demagorgan?

If u guys rewatch episode 2 closely it's obvious there's more than one because Hopper heard them making noise in the corn field.. plus we saw they grow quickly and Dart was with Dustin so that must mean the one will spat up would be alot bigger than Dart and theres been more and more since it's been a year nearly. They seem to grow every time they eat so Dart isnt that one, Dart has yellow marking on his legs and back too so we can tell him apart easier. We also heard those noises when Will saw the upside down again before seeing the smoke monster.

And to complement it, the Duffer Brothers don't show everything that happens in the meantime. So between two seasons, but you can put it together. For example, why did Hopper know that El was still alive? She was seen and so there were rumors in the small town that the reporter found out too, but Hopper will also have noticed and he could add up one and one. So he put something to eat and of course "Eggos".

To the question why there are so many of these creatures? Will must have spat it out. If you look at the scene in the last episode of Stranger Things, you can tell that Will wasn't surprised when he spat out the slug. His expression was rather annoyed. "Another beast, how many are there in me?" And then when the bathroom turned into the "Upside Down" variant, he was surprised. But not about the slug.

she did break up with steve before she boinked jonathan. he was bringing her flowers to win her back when dustin commandeered him. and dart wasn't the only slug in the upside down. there were probably thousands of them and they all grew into the same kind of creature. one more thing. by now you know this. these kids and adults are creating very strong bonds with each other, unbreakable bonds that will have them risking their lives to save each other (and the world). they are absolute heroes, willing to face the danger even when they know how lethal it is, and no matter how scared they are. this is partly why we love them. when we say 'run away!', they run into it when they can, because they know what's at stake.
